and not only do I think it was a moral issue for noah, he probably also thought it didn't fit carters character for him to do that, with what he's been through. the fact that carter himself was manipulated and assaulted as a child aside, we've seen carter be in relationships with questionable power dynamics before, but he's always been at the bottom, the one with less power. it would be a stretch for him to completely switch the second he gets a med student of his own.

And it's disgusting because there is a real fight out there with real villains. Bad people in the White House and in Hollywood, and yet they choose to focus on one of the only good ones we have simply because of their sick, twisted parasocial delusion and ship attachment.
