Sometimes folks will see her as a femme fatal or someone who can bring men to their knees but truth is she's Really Bad at Flirting

She's even worse at it than Ranma who already sucks at it (Ranma being a charmer is also fabricated)

She has the same vision about relationships as a 3 yeard old

"We hug we kiss i call you my husband"

A kid who sees another kid on the other side of the playground, runs up to them and hugs them while the kid is like "what's going on"

Not that i'm saying she's innocent by comparing her to a kid, she's not

But her courting methods are similar to what's essentially a cruel child with super strenght

The other high school boys might see shanpoo hovering over ranma and go "you are so lucky man" or they might go eat at the nekohanten just to see her as the waitress, but those are people Shampoo doesn't even acknowledge the existence of, she doesn't see them

If she actually pursued them anywhere close the way she does to Ranma they'd all run away

There was a fic with an author's note saying "isn't it odd Shampoo only has 1 admirer when Ukyo has 2 and Akane several?" and no it's not odd, it's very much deliberate

Because only someone like Mousse could see someone like Shampoo and go "that's a 10/10 girl!"
