If we are going to blame the violence that is committed by males on their socialization, then we must blame everyone who does that socializing.
These boys don't socialize themselves. It is the men, women, boys and girls around them that do the socialization. Who were also socialized themselves.
What I'm saying is that violence (male or female) is everyone's issue.
We can't just walk away. We are the problem.

What's cis-gendered and why is it a bad thing for me to be apparently?
Cisgender just means that your gender matches your sex. It is the opposite of transgender, which means that your sex and gender are not the same. Cis was never meant to be a dirty word, but some people on Tumblr use it as though it were.

Well, you’re entitled to be an idiot if you so desire. But actually comprehending things and responding intelligently is a fun alternative that you may wish to try in the future.
wanting to do it and actually doing it are two different things. or did you not know that? i’m offended by the term and no amount of education will change the fact that i am offended by a shorthand term for my sexual orientation.
It literally has nothing to do with sexual orientation. It has to do with gender identification.
And no one—I repeat: NO ONE—gives even one tenth of a fuck what words you arbitrarily choose to be offended by. I could say I’m offended by the word “Taco” and protest is usage and picket Taco Bell. It would do nothing but make me look like an idiot. And guess what? That’s exactly what you look like right now.
I am cis. Nothing about the term cis harms me or degrades me in any way. It’s simply a classification, no more offensive than any other accurate description. I am many things: white, tall, overweight, atheist, male, etc. Being offended by simple descriptive labels like these is equal parts insanity and inanity.
Why must we invent new words for everything. Why not just call it “male” and “female”, instead of “cis”.
Because that doesn’t clarify anything. A person can be cis male or cis female. They can also be trans male or trans female. We need labels for things because without labels we cannot effectively communicate concepts quickly.
Here's an idea, we can stop using cis as a label when we stop using trans as a label..

No one in this world is so unique that they don’t have some shared experience with someone else. Isn’t that kinda the point of cinemas and sport arenas?
There will always be things that people live through that others will also live through. Never in exactly the same way, but close enough.

Likewise, trans men will experience SOME of the same experiences of all men. Sometimes, enough to have community and language with other men.
