I call this crackhead bench. I've been taking the strain from this station for like a year and a half and this bench has always looked like this. Someone either melted this cooking crack or testing new Yankee candle scents, idk. I know more about candles than I do about crack. Whatever it was it happened long before i started taking this train I love crackhead bench because reactions to crackhead bench separates the commuters from the tourists headed into the city. Tourists avoid the whole bench. I saw a child cry just by looking at it. Commuters don't give a hoot, they know it's melted and just like that. We accept crackhead bench. We know it's fine. We know it's never going to get replaced.

Okay real talk I have never been to a nail salon in my life, my mother is super asthmatic and that just wasn't part of our bonding. I'm waiting for the rest of a bridal party I'm in (first time I've been early for something wow cool) and sitting here with my overnight bag of wedding stuff and pretty clothes for two days and I have no idea what I'm getting or why I'm here, and kind of high anxiety about it because this place is an alien world that smells like acetone cancer BUT then I see this guy. This is my kind of guy.
