I’m gonna call out the education system but how did it translate from “lets give children all knowledge we possibly can” to “lets create an environment where children are virtally forced to sit and be silent and listen 7-8 hours a day and then monopolize their time with thousand tasks they’re obliged to do or there will be consequences in later life for them, oh and also their entire childhood should be set up around this system that keeps them learning only specific things we decide they should be interested in and give them zero freedom in choosing what they’re interested in at the moment and what they truly want to learn, and while we’re at it we will assign their value over how well they do in the system, giving marks as their only reward and punishments for any deviation from the rules and also there has to be strict code of discipline otherwise they’ll grow into people who are hard to control"because that… is not giving the knowledge to children.. that is stressing children out beyond any reasonable point… and dismissing all possible situations and reasons to why children just can’t preform like little robots with no mental illnesses or disabilities or tough life-situations or abuse problems or just small developing being human beings who are struggling with broken hearts and grief and anger, for which they can be later punished with bad marks and low assigned value, which will absolutely make their struggles worse.You cannot tell me there’s not a more humane way to give knowledge to children. This is set up only to keep children controlled, quiet, out of the way, and aware that their lives are going to be determined by a system that allows them no voice. It’s set up so children would have to ask for permission before opening their mouth, standing up, using the toilet, walking, crying. That doesn’t sound like a necessity, it sounds like a power fantasy. It’s not a coincidence the system kills the children’s desire to learn. That’s a feature of it. It’s telling the child their desires are secondary to what system demands. And children only accept it because they have no choice but to.

I mourn who and what I could’ve been without my traumas everyday. I could’ve been so much more than i am. I could’ve been healthy. I could’ve been a real person.

no one knows what i’ve been through. no one knows the extent of all my trauma. no one knows what i’ve put myself through. no one except for me. it Aches hoarding all this knowledge, it pulses and fucking burns. it suffocates me. i want to share this fucking weight because i’m so fucking tired of holding it. i’m so fucking tired of feeling secretly ashamed, i’m so fucking tired of everything it’s all made me feel and how it’s all made me.

why did no one ever notice how broken and damaged i was. why did no one get me help sooner. why did no one care

thanks to mainstream media and being unable to show breasts on TV, way too few people know about female signs of cardiac distress, and impending heart attacks. they only know about the “pain in the left arm” male symptom.

Please, please, PLEASE, reblog this. i don’t know if I did save or called false alarm, with my boss’ life tonight. I felt I was being a bit paranoid, overreacting, but I told Mirage my thoughts and he, after reading over the article I showed him, immediately sprung into action and then shooed her off to the hospital. I don’t know if I did or not, but I knew she’d been super stressed. She’d off-handedly commented on her arm tingling and I asked her if she felt queasy on a hunch. I went to look at the symptoms and we went from there.

Holy shit, I didn’t even think the symptoms would be different between men and women. This is so hugely important and I don’t understand why we aren’t taught this. 

One of the other symptoms that doesn’t get talked about , especially in women, is a “feeling of impending doom”. I am not even kidding, that is a legitimate diagnostic criteria. Please - if you are feeling any of these symptoms and a sudden onset of “Holy shit the world is ending” do not let anyone tell you it’s “just nerves” or “just heartburn” or something.

Keep these in mind ESPECIALLY IF YOU’VE GOT HEART DISEASE IN YOUR FAMILY!  So many more women die from heart attacks than because they don’t recognize the symptoms when they’re so different. Please stay safe and stay informed.

The tricky thing is that panick attacks can feel like this as well :/ However, you should know the symptoms, especially if you usually don’t suffer from panick attacks.
