September 30: Return to the intraweb

Today marks the end of a two year span where I lived without internet (but did maintain a data plan). Effectively, this made me more conscious of how I spend my screen time, scroll time, and why. The big reveal is that screen time is generally spent in search of self-gratification. I was more likely to get my butt off to work, the field, a library or a cafe to actually get shit done. While,…

I just came across this quote, “The first solid to form is generally the least favoured thermodynamically, a phenomenon described as Ostwald’s rule of stages” (Martin et al, Harvard U). I always find that first step towards any sort of progress is the hardest. All subsequent steps are so much easier, and then a pattern emerges. Baby steps!

Hello! I am hoping to arrange a class once a week for six weeks that will best suit your schedules. If you are interested in weekly classes with me, please private message me or e-mail me at [email protected] with ‘Yoga classes’ in the subject line the latest by Thursday, June 2. The classes will begin with an Introduction to basic poses workshop and we will gradually work our way towards a vinyasa-styled class. Cost: $40 for all six classes or $10/class.
