So imagine that with Jinshi. Because he never got to be a child, imagine that sometimes, when the work piles up, when he spends all day wearing a mask dealing with court politics and lustful women (and men), sometimes he reverts back to childlike behaviors. Protesting orders simply because he doesn't want to, curling up into a ball under the covers, even hugging something, anything close all while fearing Gaoshun or Suiren would take it away. The two of them knew and made sure to keep it a secret--if word got out that the prince/master jinshi still acted like a child, who knew what political consequences it could have?? Not to mention how easy it would be to take advantage of him in such a situation.

So whenever Gaoshun saw the first hints of it, the look of distress and loss on his face, he would rush him out of the room and into his private chambers before the secret could be discovered. When it first happened, he tried to tell the prince to stop it, only for Jinshi to burst into tears. It's one of Jinshi's biggest secrets, the shame eating away at him when he recovers and remembers how he acted. But he just can't stop it.

Enter Maomao.

She's already commented on his childlike tendencies, so imagine if she catches him in the act. But the thing is, she doesn't think it's embarrassing or lame. She knows that it just happens, that it's not something one can easily control, so she merely takes care of him and says nothing of the matter.

Ok Imagine this:

Jinshi coming back from meeting with the emperor but it’s not a good one cause bro was on about consorts again. Paperwork is stacking high and Jinshi’s stress load is a tea kettle ready to scream. He leaves the throne room already on 100 but then on the way home is stopped by a group of fawning court ladies.

No matter how hard he tries to gently shoo them away they won’t leave, finally one of the girls reaches out to touch his shoulder and Jinshi SNAPS.

Bro smacks her hand away and stomps a foot on the ground like an angry rabbit and tells them all to leave him the hell alone

But instead of having giant explosions every movie like DetCo, JinMao should be shooting cannons and be using swords. Instead of Shinichi learning how to shoot a gun or fly a helicopter or drive a boat in Hawaii, let’s have Jinshi pull out a random skill every movie and say that he learned it while at Military Camp. Instead of Conan kicking soccer balls at Mach 20 at the faces of every culprit, let’s have Maomao poison at least one bad guy per movie.

Since Conan gets shot, stabbed, drowned, beaten up, buried under avalanches, burned, nearly exploded…okay let me stop. Since Conan goes through the torment nexus, I want to put JinMao through it as well.
