A character design for a gnome warlock in a D&D game that I'm playing.

An updated design for my Fabula Ultima character that I previously drew here. The character started as a Rogue/Wayfarer but a story opportunity presented itself to take some levels in Mutant so I came up with this design. The limb was inspired by sea urchins and lionfish fins so it has a rather oceanic design, but I ended up taking lightning effects instead of anything sea-themed. The blue skin color is probably an unconscious X-Men reference.

This is a design for a character in a game of Fabula Ultima that I recently joined. I ended up making a rogue/wayfarer, and no one had gone for the 90's anime elf aesthetic with the big pointy sideways ears so that was my go-to. Fabula Ultima is a TTRPG steeped in retro anime and RPGs, so my main inspirations for this character's design were characters like Lina Inverse from Slayers, Marle from Chrono Trigger and Karna from Ys: Memories of Celceta.

I've been streaming Super Robot Wars Y for a couple of months now and intend to keep it up for at least a couple more, so I wanted to make a fun intermission picture for when I take breaks mid-stream. I hope you enjoy!
