Bewitched by you? (Pt 6)
Told yall I had another. Jealousy is very much a thing in this one..
âââââââââââââââ
By the time morning arrived, the storm had passed, leaving behind damp streets and the scent of rain lingering in the air. The town looked different in the early lightâquiet, softened, as if the night before had never happened.
I rolled onto my side, stretching beneath the blankets, only to find the space beside me empty.
Lilia was already up, perched by the window with a cup of coffee in hand. The soft glow of morning cast long shadows over her figure, her dark hair spilling over her shoulders in loose waves.
She didnât acknowledge me at first, her gaze fixed on something outside. But I knew she had heard me stir. Lilia always noticed everything.
I sat up, running a hand through my hair. âMorning.â
âMorning,â she echoed, but there was something clipped about it.
I frowned. âYouâre up early.â
She finally turned toward me, her expression unreadable. âWe have to head back soon.â
Right. The client.
I stretched again, still waking up. âWhat time does she want to meet?â
A pause. Then, without missing a beat, Lilia said, âShe canceled.â
I blinked. âWaitâwhat?â
Lilia took a slow sip of her coffee. âShe changed her mind.â
I frowned, sitting up straighter. âButâseriously? After dragging us all the way out here?â
âShe apologized.â Liliaâs tone was even, too smooth. âSaid it wasnât the right time.â
Something about this felt off.
The way she wouldnât quite meet my gaze. The tension in her posture, subtle but present.
But before I could press further, she was already moving, setting her coffee down and reaching for her coat. âGet ready. Weâll leave soon.â
I hesitated. âLiliaââ
âDonât linger, Y/n.â Her voice was light, but the edge was unmistakable. âIâd hate for someone to miss you.â
The shift was so sudden I almost missed it.
But I caught it.
I caught the way her shoulders tensed just slightly, the way she reached for her bag with a little more force than necessary.
And then, suddenly, it clicked.
She thinks Iâm in love with Amy.
I almost laughed. Almost.
But something about the way she was holding herself, the way she was already closing herself off, made the amusement fade before it could fully take shape.
I stood slowly, watching her carefully. âIs something wrong?â
She scoffed, a sound so quiet I barely heard it. âWhy would anything be wrong?â
Oh, she was pissed.
Not in the obvious way. Lilia didnât get obviously mad. No, she was controlled, calculated. But I had spent weeks working beside her. I knew when she was holding something back.
And right now?
She was seething.
I crossed my arms. âYou tell me.â
She turned then, finally meeting my gaze, and there it wasâjust the barest flicker of something sharp, something possessive, before she smoothed it over with an effortless smirk.
âYou donât have to explain yourself to me,â she said lightly. âYour feelings are your business.â
I blinked. âMy feelings?â
Lilia arched a brow, her voice slow, deliberate. âIsnât it obvious?â
I stared at her, the weight of the moment settling between us.
She really thought I still had feelings for Amy.
Thatâs what last night had been about. The card. The way she had shut down so quickly afterward. She thought I had drawn The Lovers because of him.
I couldâve corrected her.
I shouldâve corrected her.
But instead, something in me wanted to push her, just a little.
I tilted my head. âAnd if I did have feelings for someone?â
Liliaâs smirk didnât falter, but something in her gaze darkened.
âThen Iâd wish them luck,â she said smoothly. âSeems like they already have all your attention.â
The words shouldâve sounded indifferent. Dismissive.
But they didnât.
Because beneath that perfect, practiced maskâbeneath the casual arroganceâwas something rawer. Sharper.
Jealousy.
I stepped closer, watching her carefully. âIs that what you think?â
Lilia didnât move away, and she didnât answer⌠not with words at least.
But her silence said enough.
She was jealous.
And the strangest part? I donât think she even realized itânot fully. She carried it like a quiet weight in her posture, in the way she kept herself at a distance without actually leaving.
I took another step forward, deliberately closing some of the space between us. âYou think I have feelings for her.â
Lilia let out a quiet breath through her nose, somewhere between amusement and exasperation. âI know you do.â
I raised an eyebrow. âDo you?â
Her smirk deepened, but it didnât reach her eyes. âThe card, Y/n. You pulled The Lovers last night.â She tilted her head slightly. âUnless you want to tell me the universe was playing a little joke on you?â
My heart skipped. She was testing meâpressing just enough to see if Iâd admit it.
The only problem?
She thought she already knew the answer.
Lilia Calderu, for all her intuition, for all her talent at reading others, had never considered the possibility that she was the one I wanted.
I folded my arms, tilting my head as I studied her. âAnd what if the card wasnât about Amy?â
That got her attention.
Her fingers curled ever so slightly at her sides, her gaze flickeringâquick, like she couldnât stop herself from reacting before smoothing her expression over again.
âOh?â she mused, but there was something different in her voice now, something careful. âThen who was it about?â
I opened my mouthâSay it, just say itâbut then she turned away.
Just like that, the moment shattered.
âForget it,â she said lightly, moving toward her bag. âWe should go before the weather turns again.â
I exhaled, shaking my head. Coward.
But she was running.
Not physicallyâLilia never ran from anythingâbut in the way she suddenly busied herself, the way she shrugged on her coat without looking at me, like this conversation had already been neatly filed away under Things That Donât Matter.
It mattered, though. I could feel it.
And so could she.
I watched her in silence, weighing my options, feeling the moment slip between my fingers. I could let it go. I could keep pretending.
Orâ
I took a slow step closer, then another, closing the space she had carefully tried to build between us.
âLilia.â
She hesitated. It was subtle, barely there, but I caught it. The slightest pause in her movements, the way her hand hovered near the strap of her bag before she finally turned to face me.
She arched a brow, her expression calm, unreadable. âYes?â
I took a breath. âYouâre wrong.â
Lilia didnât blink. âAbout what?â
I let the silence stretch, let the words settle between us before I said, steady and certainâ
âAbout who The Lovers was for.â
Something flickered in her expressionâquick, barely-there, but unmistakable. A crack in the armor.
Thenâslowly, deliberatelyâLilia smirked.
âIs that so?â
I nodded. âIt is.â
A heartbeat passed. Then another.
She was watching me now, too closely, like she was finally paying attention, trying to read between the lines of what I wasnât saying.
And thenâjust as quickly as the moment had arrived, she pulled away.
âWell,â she said smoothly, turning toward the door, âI suppose weâll never know, will we?â
And just like that, she was walking away, the walls sliding back into place.
But I had seen it.
I had seen the truth settle in her gaze for just a fraction of a second.
And for the first time since I met Lilia Calderu-
I knew I had won.
ââââââââââââââ

Can you make a jealous Agatha Harkness x reader? Where Agatha tells reader donât interact a lot with the rest of the coven de AAA (because she is scared that the other witches are going to talk bad things about her and also the revelation that Agathaâs ex is there) but the members of the coven want to interact with reader and Agatha gets jealous?
Love <3
Of course my love, your wish is my command. Iâve been meaning to write more Agatha fics anyway. đđ
Bewitched by you? (Pt 3)
Finally made a third part.. sorry itâs been a while I had so much stuff to do with my essays and projects. Have mercyđĽşđ
AnywayâŚ. Heh, I have used the one bed trope now..
(Warnings- MOMMY KINK, I forgot the rest ngl.)
I have nothing appropriate to say
I donât either
Bewitched by you? (Pt 2)
Hehehe I made a second part.
Itâs the same warnings as the last.
(Mommy kink, jealousy, panties, unusual use of said panties. Oh I lied mean lesbian!)
ââââââââââââââââ
By now, the scent of incense no longer overwhelmed me when I stepped inside.
it had settled into something familiar, like the way a home smells after youâve lived in it long enough. Cinnamon, clove, and that unnameable something that always clung to Lena herself, like smoke and secrets.
I barely had time to drop my bag onto my desk before her voice floated in from the front of the shop.
âYouâre late.â
I wasnât. Not technically. But Iâd learned quickly that Lilia operated on her own kind of time, and somehow, I was always either too early or too lateânever just right.
I rolled my eyes as I rounded the corner into the front room. âGood morning to you too.â
Lilia sat at her usual spot, perched behind the circular table where she did her readings, a deck of tarot cards fanned out in front of her. She was dressed in yellow, as always, but today it was a silk blouse, loose at the wrists, wlike sheâd only half decided to be put together.
Dark waves of hair cascaded over her shoulders as she shuffled the deck with lazy precision, her rings catching the candlelight.
She didnât look up, but I knew she was watching me. She always was.
âFeeling optimistic today?â she murmured, cutting the deck.
I frowned. âShould I not be?â
A small smirk tugged at her lips.
I was about to push for clarification when the bell above the door jingled.
I turned automatically, my usual customer-service smile already in placeâ
And then I saw her.
The smile dropped right off my face.
âWow,â Amy said, looking just as surprised as I felt. âY/n?â Oh, hell. Lilia glanced between us, one dark brow arching ever so slightly.
I swallowed. âUh. Hey. What are you doing here?â I asked, forcing my voice to stay light.
Amy gave a sheepish smile. âI, uh⌠was in the area. Saw the shop and thought, no way thatâs the same Y/nâbut here you are.â She chuckled, shoving her hands into her pockets. âYou work here?â
Before I could answer, Lilia finally spoke.
âShe does.â Her voice was smooth, but there was something sharp underneath it. Something quiet but dangerous.
Amy glanced at her like she was just noticing her for the first time. âOhâhi. You must be⌠the owner?â
Lilia tilted her head, her lips curving into something that was not a smile. âLilia Calderu.â She didnât offer a hand, and Amy wisely didnât extend hers.
She turned back to me, completely unaware of the tension creeping into the room. âWell, damn. Itâs been a while, huh?â
âYeah,â I said quickly. âIt has.â
Too quickly. Liliaâs eyes flicked to me, and I could feel her watching, reading me like one of her tarot spreads.
Amy smiled like she didnât notice. âWe should catch up, maybe grab coffee?â
Liliaâs fingers tapped once against the table. âSheâs busy.â
Amy blinked at her. âOh.â She let out a little laugh, like she couldnât quite believe what was happening. âRight. Well, maybe another time?â
I hesitated. I didnât actually want to, but my brain short-circuited under pressure, and before I could think of a way to shut it down without being rudeâ
âShe wonât have time.â
Lilias voice was still smooth, still polite, but her fingers toyed with the edge of a tarot card, spinning it slowly beneath her touch. A low hum crackled in the air, barely noticeableâbut I felt it.
Amy looked between us, finally sensing something was off. She let out a short breath, gave me one last look, then nodded. âWell⌠good seeing you, Y/n.â
âYou too,â I lied.
The door chimed again as she left, and the second it shut behind her, the weight in the room shifted.
I turned to Lilia, crossing my arms. âThat was not subtle.â
She didnât even look up. Instead, she reached for the deck in front of her, casually shuffling as if she hadnât just sent my ex packing with a few pointed words. âI have no idea what youâre talking about.â
I scoffed. âReally? Because Iâm pretty sure you just told her to get lost.â
She hummed, drawing a card from the deck and turning it over without looking at it. âDid I?â
âYes.â
Lilia finally glanced up, her expression cool, unbothered. âShe was annoying me.â
I let out a short laugh. âShe was here for two minutes.â
âExactly.â
I narrowed my eyes at her, but she had already gone back to her cards, spinning one idly between her fingers. She looked completely at ease, like she hadnât just inserted herself into my love life without blinking.
And yet⌠there was something about the way she had shut her down. Something deliberate.
I opened my mouth to push her on it, to see if sheâd slip and actually admit she had been jealous, but before I could say anything, she placed the card down in front of her and changed the subject entirely.
âDo you want tea?â she asked, already rising from her seat. âI feel like having tea.â
I sighed, shaking my head as I dropped into the chair across from her. âYou are so full of shit.â
Lilia smirked as she walked toward the back room. âAnd yet, here you are.â
I had no response to that. And from the way her laugh floated back toward me, she knew it too.
ââââââââââ
Welp. Itâs not much but itâs honest workâŚ
I donât know if it was that good.
