I love Darren for a multitude of reasons: he’s beyond talented, he puts others above him, he’s humorous, he loves his fans, he’s kind, he’s friendly, he’s down to earth, and so much more. Darren puts others above him and always reminds people that he’s just some guy living his dream and meeting new friends along the road. I love Darren because he’s everything I wish I was and everything I love in a person.

I’m like any other composer. If you give me five years to write a symphony, I’m still going to be asking for more time two days before it’s due.

Keep going on hikes, keep having your friends in your life, keep that downtime sacred as well because as hard as you work in any job, it’s really nice to have the relaxing de-stressors. Stress is the worst thing. That’s the ultimate demise of any good thing.
