being out of a certain timeline can definitely bring on a lot of guilt over past actions, especially when you’ve got a new perspective now. it’s more than alright not to miss people- i know that a lot of the times, people in the fictionkin community can be solely oriented on finding canonmates that they miss, and it can feel kind of invalidating when that’s just not you.

those memories can be really, really rough- i think the best way to handle those feelings of guilt and those recurring memories would be to write out an apology. write about what you’ve done, what you feel guilty about, what you’d change- and post it somewhere. you don’t have to put it on tumblr or any sort of social media, you can even use a disappearing site like this one where you can just write it all out and let it disappear. it’s really cleansing and can feel really freeing when you have bad memories and guilt weighing you down.

being able to disconnect from your emotions can seem like and feel like a fantastic solution- trust me, i sure as heck want to all the time- but it’s not the best way to handle what’s really going on. it’s easier, yes- and i definitely get missing that ability- but it’s really  important to try to get down to the source of what’s bothering you.

it sounds cheesy, but being really introspective so you can try to get to the root of what’s actually going on can really improve your life.

as far as dissociating goes, i’d really recommend trying to find something that grounds you- an object that you can hold in your hand and feel that you can focus on when you start to disassociate. pebbles, pendants, and pieces of cloth work wonders for that!! wishing you the best in everything,

firstly, this took two months-ish to answer, and i’m so so sorry about that! i know we keep saying that we’ll be on top of answering asks and stuff, and then something always comes up, and i’m really, really sorry about how long this took to get back to you.

but, sans- your life has been rough, and you’ve been trying to follow your instincts and do what you think is right for so long, trying to make sure that everyone you love and care about is safe. things can get out of hand sometimes when you’re trying to do the right thing. you’ve made some mistakes, but you’ve always tried to protect those you care about, even if you went about it kind of wrong.

life can be hard, and trying to make the right choice in a bad situation can be awfully tough, but you’ve done your best, which is what I think really matters.

i’m so, so sorry that we haven’t been looking at applications or answering the rest of the asks in our inbox lately.

personally, i’ve been having some severe health issues and haven’t had the time between trying to take care of myself and school to do any blog or network things, and i’m so so sorry about that!

however, we aren’t looking for new mods to join us, i’m sorry. we’ve talked about this before, and at this point, mod moss and i want to keep this blog between the two of us to avoid confrontation and a bunch of other personal reasons.

thank you guys for your patience and support! i’m gonna answer applications and stuff tonight, as our first priority, and then start answering asks.

firstly, i’m proud of you for admitting that you hurt them. that’s a really important thing, and it takes a lot of guts to do. i’m not sure specifically what happened in your timeline, but i think that if you apologize to marshall lee, you can hopefully work things out with them.

how to adjust if you’ve wronged someone can be very hard and confusing, but the most important thing is to talk it through with whoever you’ve hurt. hopefully, they’ll forgive you and you can continue to be their friend and work through whatever’s going on. i have faith in you! i really, really hope that you can work things out, and if you can’t make things work with your marshall lee, i can confidently say that you’ll have people who will still support you and love you.

as long as you’ve learned from your mistakes and are moving past them, that’s all that really matters, i’d say.

hey there carl! mod moss and i had no idea how to answer this, seeing as that we’re very very unfamiliar with the walking dead, so we ended up asking our good friend to help out answering this ask. from the little bit that she told us about you, we’re very, very proud of you and are here if you need anything.

Carl Grimes, you by far are one of the bravest members of your group. 

You had to go through so much shit, but you pull yourself up every time. Being a kid in the apocalypse is tough enough, but losing, and thinking you’ve lost, family is super hard to deal with. Even your dad couldn’t handle it for a period, and who was the one who took care of him? You, all by yourself. 

If you weren’t confused and starting to break, that’s almost inhuman. Even Darryl had more of a breakdown at one point then you ever had. Just keep your head above water as best you can, and look forward to the people that you love, and love you. So many people are so inspired by you, including your dad. We all support you, and believe in you.

hello there! first of all, i’m so sorry this took so long to answer, oh dear.

i very much think that your friend is mistaken, and might not know what a system really is. here’s a link to the psychology today definition of DID- something that causes systems- i can give you a brief explanation too!

a system is when, simply put, there are multiple personalities/people in one body. there are completely separate entities in one person’s body- being glitchkin doesn’t affect if you’re a system or not.

 i’m sorry i can’t explain this much better right now, aa! i hope this helps though ! if you have any more specific questions, we’ll certainly be here to help! if you’re not sure specifically what a system is, i think that googling “diisociative identity disorder” and “what is a system” or something like that is more helpful and accurate than we can be- we’re nowhere near professionals! hopefully you can get this all settled.

hey there anon! im so so sorry that the situation is like that, but i definitely get the longing to go into a forest too for different reasons but i still dont have access. feeling homesick is a horrible feeling, but im sure that there are things you could do to make you feel more at home! i know that there are blogs that post self care for kintypes, some post items, others post playlists- theres a lot of stuff you could look into!i personally recommend mynoise.net! there are several different natural sounds that you can play (like a running stream, birds chirping, i believe there was a forest walk one?) to help you feel more at ease and at home! also if you’re able, you can get things that make your room at home feel more like your home as your kintype! decor or blankets or things that make you feel at ease can all help!i really hope the best for you and i hope that soon you can go to the woods! best of wishes!
