narukami had headed back home not too long ago, probably a few weeks at this point... and his absence was felt daily, admittedly, and nobody missed him quite like the joint sense of longing split between nanako and yosuke. they'd talked every day, he and yosuke texted every second, and he knew nanako received phone calls multiple times a day. but it was still pretty empty without him around. spring couldn't come fast enough.

so the brunette boy had certainly made it a point to spend more time with the girl when he had free time from school work and work work... like today. they were doodling and coloring in some of nanako's favorite coloring books, she was sharing memories, and he was telling her stories. opening his mouth to follow up on his turn to talk, he stopped himself... the pressure to his cheek for half a second as he glanced down, catching sight of her sticker sheet.
