About fics:

This account was originally created to give you recommendations, as well as reblogs and shout-outs to the authors behind these stories, alongside little reviews and/or personal opinions because, as most of you know, writers love —and deserve— more interaction than simple likes.

Recommendations are organized by member, trope, and AU. Once I finish the recommendation lists for each member, I’ll start recommending stories individually through reblogs with commentary, which will then be added to the masterlist.

About requests:

Requests are currently completely open! They’re mainly meant to help you find specific stories, authors, or writers within certain genres at a more detailed level.

Requests can also be used to help find fics you’ve lost and need assistance tracking down. My goal is to make this community a place where we can all help each other discover stories that deserve more recognition <3

Extra services:

As I mentioned before, this blog is here to help find and promote all kinds of stories, which means asks are also open for writers who would like to promote their accounts or stories through this page.

Hi sweetie! I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t usually consume mxm content (at least not when it comes to the boys). However, I took a look at the synopsis and the first chapter, and it genuinely seemed really interesting, so I’m going to take this opportunity to give it a little promotion on my tiny blog <3 at the moment I’m a little busy with work and looking for stories for my Nam fic list, so I don’t think I’ll be able to give a very detailed opinion on it right now. I can finally bring you my Taehyung rec list, which is very special to me because he’s been my bias ever since I joined the fandom (I’m a very loyal woman). Inside this list are some of my favorite stories of all time, and I’m really excited to finally share them with you guys. -> Summary: A servant to the state since birth, forced to work for the royal family until you die. These are the conditions that have granted you life, yet are they are the same ones that can take everything away. He can take everything away. But he would never, for you are his future, his eternity.

-> Review: Starting with this one feels absolutely diabolical because UGHH IT’S PERFECT. Honestly, Lily is one of the best writers I know, and this story? It proves it from miles away. An obsessive prince Taehyung willing to do anything to win over oc is everything right in this world, everything we need for a good afternoon of reading where you just want to disappear into a historical setting filled with royalty wearing extravagant outfits and expensive jewelry (you’ll see a lot of that in this list lol). It’s not extremely yandere/obsessive, and the warnings tell you everything you need to know beforehand so you won’t feel uncomfortable while reading. A solid 10/10 ^3^

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU HAVE JUST BEEN CHEATED ON? by @1uvtae

-> Summary: what do you do when you have found out that your long-term boyfriend has been cheating on you? well, contacting his (may i mention, very, very hot) best friend tae is definitely an option.

-> Review: This one in particular has a very special place in my heart because I’ve reread it more than four times since I first found it, and I’ll probably keep rereading it no matter how much time passes. Normally I do NOT support cheating, but… let’s be honest, with oc’s boyfriend? Anyone would feel unloved and end up seeking revenge in the arms of the best friend, Taehyung 🧎‍♀️ but seriously, the tension I felt while reading this is something I genuinely haven’t been able to replicate with any other story. Like, the elevator scene with the scarf??? DUDE, I SCREAMED. I HAD TO CALL MY FRIEND JUST TO SCREAM ABOUT IT BECAUSE ???? THE AUDACITY OF KIM TAEHYUNG??? Anyway, one of my absolute favorites. Go read it if you’re looking for a little angst and a Taehyung who’s more than ready to start beef with his friend.

-> Review: I actually read this one a long time ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. It has everything you could want in a good one-shot, and every time I think about this Taehyung I start giggling and kicking my feet because GOD he’s perfect. If you’re looking for a fluffy story where Taehyung is a professor and needs you to fake a relationship in front of his coworkers, this is the story for you ;)

ALWAYS THE BRIDESMAID by @kookingtae

-> Summary: When you first meet Kim Taehyung, you’re determined to find every reason you can to hate him—or maybe he’s just looking for ways to get on your last nerve. But when a turn of events has the two of you working the wedding of the man you’re hopelessly in love with, you’re too late to realize the real reason to hate Kim Taehyung is because of the latest column he’s secretly writing: “Always the Bridesmaid, Never the Bride”, and it’s all about you.

-> Review: I have to confess that I had never watched 27 Dresses before reading this, so yes, this is one of those rare cases where the fanfic completely won against the movie. Adaptations are one of my favorite AUs of all time, and an adaptation of a 2000s rom-com? You immediately have my full attention. I’ll be honest, this Taehyung did frustrate me a little at times lol, BUT! everything gets fixed in the end and everyone ends up happy, as they should 😌 (And no, it doesn’t have the same ending as the movie, so I definitely recommend reading it from beginning to end because this version is genuinely so worth it.)

PYGMALION by @deepdarkdelights

-> Summary: "Then let me show you how persuasive I can be," He breathed, resting his hands on the desk on either side of you.

He leaned in a bit closer to you, his eyelashes fluttering subtly as his gaze traveled over every inch of your face. It was almost as if he was just as mesmerized by you as you were of him. The only difference was the fact that yous knees were trembling beneath your weight on the verge of collapsing, you were about to go boneless.

And he hadn't even said a word.

-> Review: Guys, this? This is a hidden fucking masterpiece of a fanfic. Yandere fics usually aren’t really my thing because, I don’t know, I just don’t tend to read that kind of stuff, but this one? This is one of the most perfect things my eyes have ever had the privilege of reading. It’s originally a series, one fic for each member, and while every published part is a masterpiece (Yoongi’s part STILL hurts me like it was yesterday), this one in particular is on a completely different level for me. The final part, when oc arrives at Taehyung’s house? God. That entire sequence had me tense through every single word, every paragraph. Don’t go into this expecting romance because the summary and warnings never try to paint it that way. It’s a dark story dealing with dark themes, and it doesn’t romanticize them—it simply presents them in a beautifully written way.

A HUMAN TOUCH by @snackhobi

-> Summary: Everyone knows that androids don't think, or feel, or have emotions. They're not humans, after all. So when a two hour session with a sex android ends up with nothing more than a nice conversation, you think that's the first and last time you'll see V.

Then he turns up at your door.

-> Review: I think I made it very clear in my last rec list that I LOVE android fics, and this is one of the reasons why. This was one of the first fics I ever read and it’s honestly so beautiful. I love the way they meet, the way he shows up at her house looking for help, and how his relationship with himself develops so naturally. The way he tries to discover who he is through art and UGHH I LOVE HIM. It also has Yoonjin as the side couple and I ultra mega adore them, they’re the cutest people in the entire world.

THE ART OF TOUCH by @chateautae

-> Summary: kim taehyung’s life as a painter was the definition of monochromatic. many revered his talents with the likes of a prodigy, even possessing the midas touch. however, taehyung sadly despised anything he ever painted. that was, until, he earned the opportunity to meet you. with a connection too magnetic to deny, not only do you become the most beautiful work of art taehyung has ever painted, but also join him in the steamy art of touch and romance. 

-> Review: This story is one of the most intense things I’ve ever read, and I love it for that. Taehyung as a painter during a royal era is already everything right in this world, but adding oc as his muse too? Perfect. Art in its purest form. Honestly, I just love the concept of someone so talented despising their own art because they can’t truly feel what they’re painting, only to finally find their muse and realize their talent can at last fully come to life.

-> Summary: Taehyung falls in love with an enigmatic queen.

-> Review: Don’t let the simple summary fool you, these two parts were INCREDIBLE. Like, I genuinely loved them so much, especially the second one. I have a weakness for jealousy scenes (normal jealousy, not obsessive), and what happens with Taehyung in part two? I was literally having the best day of my life. (Yes, I was stressed the entire time, but that’s beside the point.)

-> Summary: “Kim Taehyung. That name makes your skin crawl. Kim Taehyung is your handsome, arrogant co-worker at HAUTE COUTURE, the hottest fashion magazine of today, who seems to get everything you want without as much as having to blink his cute eyes. He took your dream position of head of fashion, he seems to be loved by everyone and he thinks it is okay to shamelessly flirt with you (or anyone else in the office for that matter). I know, I know, I know I took way too long to post this even though I said I’d upload it last night, but life happened (ahem, work) and I didn’t have the time. But now I’m finally super free and really excited to share the Jungkook fanfics that have stayed with me the most. P.S. I read a lot of these stories a long time ago, but! I still love them just as much as the first time <3 Also, feel free to tell me in the asks or in the comments which member you’d like to see next (or if you’d prefer a specific trope!).

THE PROPOSAL by @hansolmates -> Summary: Jeon’s the editor-in-chief for Big Hit Publishings, a closet romantic with a penchant for antagonizing his assistant on the reg. When his work visa is in the process of being renewed and he takes a trip to Norway, his eligibility to stay in America is on the line. However Jeon Jungkook doesn’t go without a fight, and in order to save his job he offers you a proposal you can’t refuse. -> Review: Have you ever watched The Proposal and wished you could find a fanfic inspired by that movie? Well, you don’t have to keep searching anymore! This is THE The Proposal-inspired fanfic (and don’t lie, I know you thought about it too, we all did). As you can see from the summary, the roles are reversed here, and Jungkook is the boss this time (grrr). It’s obviously not a super faithful adaptation of the movie — it’s an adaptation, not a copy — but it’s incredibly fun, keeps all the elements that make that rom-com one of the greatest ever, and has a super satisfying ending <3 ROCK GOD by @venusjeon -> Summary: You’ve got one year left to either finish your novitiate and become a nun like your parents always wanted, or leave the order and live a secular life like you’ve always wanted. but the fact that a sister’s flirty nephew is staying in the convent for the summer provides a perfect distraction to such headache. -> Review: Do you know that empty feeling you get when you finish reading something too good and suddenly have no idea what to do with yourself afterward? So you just sit there staring at your phone screen, trying to process what the hell just happened? That’s exactly how this fic made me feel when I read it two years ago (uff, time really flies). I’m not gonna lie, my relationship with this version of Jungkook is… complicated, but! That doesn’t change the fact that I absolutely adored this fic from beginning to end, and I’d read it all over again just to experience that feeling one more time. ACCIDENTAL ROOMMATES by @jjkeverlast -> Summary: Moving apartments is stressful and difficult enough as it is. all the planning and packing and multiple moments of rearranging furniture; all you crave is peace. yet it seemed like peace was far within reach as the owner of the apartment had left out one tiny crucial detail from the ad — a ripped tattooed adonis, coupled, with a tiny baby daughter will come as your roommate. -> Review: I have to confess that dilf aus are way too powerful for me, so finding this fic, with a tattooed Jungkook, father of an adorable baby girl, who also happens to be oc’s neighbor? It genuinely felt like striking gold. I really loved the relationship between these two, and obviously the baby as well. Also, the little touch Nam brings to this fic is chef’s kiss. It was brief, but perfect, and it gave me one of my favorite scenes.

HOT BOT by @httpjeon

-> Summary: Purchasing a Hot Bot wasn’t exactly something you ever really planned on. when you do, however, it sends your life down a path of convoluted government schemes and dark secrets.

-> Review: Okay, so, this series actually includes several members, but I only read Jungkook’s part (it had my favorite plot, and I am weak). It’s only four parts long, and all four of them are wonderful. Android aus are genuinely fascinating to me. I’ve read a few over the years I’ve spent here, and I still remember this one fondly because not only was it the first one I ever found, but I also feel like it does an amazing job showing the android’s evolution and, at the same time, the consequences that can happen if their system gets reset or damaged (I still get anxious thinking about that chapter). Seriously, I’m begging you guys to give this series a chance, it’s really, really good.

FLESH AND BLOOD by @kinktae

-> Summary: You are living in a society that is just now picking up the scraps that the Great Outbreak left behind after the government killed off the majority of the zombies. Still, some remain, and fear still lies within society’s walls. So imagine your surprise when the very thing you’ve been taught to fear ends up saving your life, showing you that maybe two beating hearts aren’t always required when it comes to love.

-> Review: Guys. Guys, this one? This one is PURE GOLD AHHH. So, I’m actually a huge fan of monster romance (sue me!), which means that when I look for apocalypse aus, I’m not looking for survivors, I’m looking for zombies, because why not? And somehow, in the middle of my nearly impossible search, I found this absolute gem right here. Three parts. A Jungkook who slowly starts learning how to be human again. And smut (because I know you all love that ;)). This is one of the very few stories on here that I recommended to friends outside of Tumblr because that’s how much I loved it. It’s the kind of story that leaves this warm feeling in your chest and makes you want to come back and read it all over again someday.

SHATTER WITH ME by @colormepurplex2

-> Summary: Your best friend, Jiyoon, and her husband, Jungkook, have faced years of hardship trying to start a family. In a last-ditch effort to have their dream life, they seek solace in surrogacy. Wanting to see your best friend smile, you offer to become the bright beacon at the end of the tunnel, giving them what they have always wanted. But what happens when you begin to shine your light on their darkness? Things aren’t always as they seem—happiness can be a façade, shattering under the lightest pressure.

-> Review: The amount of anxiety this story gave me is honestly not normal. I still remember how uncomfortable I felt every single time Jiyoon showed up or whenever there was a tense moment between Jungkook and OC because, duh, he was a married man. Anyway, I’m completely in love with this story and its characters. I love stories that make me anxious, that make me unable to stop reading, that force me to keep going until I finish the first part because UGHHH I LOVE when authors make me absolutely devour their stories by sheer force of how good they are. And this is definitely one of those stories. You’re going to eat this up in one sitting, trust me.

-> Review: Just like with Hot Bot, this series has side stories for other members too, but Jungkook’s is the main one (also the longest lol) and OH. MY. GOD. AHHHH. I love it, I adore it, it’s one of the very few series where smut is kind of the “main theme” (in the loosest way possible) that I genuinely really enjoy. The whole concept surrounding this universe is fascinating to me. Like, the Club LaRouge?? Absolute genius. The author is a genius, seriously. And the side stories are incredible too (you have no idea how excited I got when I saw they uploaded Jimin’s). You need to read this one, no excuses. Pure art.

THE WIFE TRAP by @wintrbears

-> Summary: There are two boys but only one girl, leaving Jungkook hopelessly in love with someone he can never have, and doesn’t want to have, because that would mean taking you away from the person he loves most. Then suddenly there’s only one boy and one girl, but it’s the wrong one.

In honor of this account’s name, the first recommendation list will be dedicated to the love of my life, aka Min Yoongi. I read many of these fics a long time ago, but I could NEVER forget them, and honestly, I think that’s enough promotion on its own. P.S. Besides the summary, I usually add a little review after each fic because duh, authors always deserve extra love and appreciation.

PRETTY GIRLS LIE PRETTY by @kikiskook Summary: What if your girlfriend’s pissy friend didn’t want to steal you away? What if he just wanted to fuck the goodness out of you? And what if you let him? Review: This one is kind of my guilty pleasure. Why? Because the main plot revolves around cheating. I KNOW, I KNOW IT’S BAD, BUT I CAN’T HELP IT, IT’S JUST TOO WELL WRITTEN. Blame Kiki for being such a good writer tbh. There isn’t a huge amount of plot here—it’s mostly smut with a bit of storyline—but it feels super well balanced, and the chemistry between the protagonists is insanely good. Like, I’m not even that big of a smut reader, and this story still had me completely hooked.

CALLING... PRODUCER MIN YOONGI by @bangtan-dreamland Summary: The first time you call him, it's two in the morning. Review: Guys, when I tell you this has been my favorite read of the year, I’m not exaggerating. It’s the sweetest thing I’ve read in MONTHS (at least when it comes to Yoongi lol). It’s honestly hard to find fics that don’t revolve entirely around smut, so finding this one-shot that’s just pure fluff, love, and the softest Yoongi ever was SO exciting. The story doesn’t really have a summary, but it’s basically about Reader calling a random number (cough cough Yoongi cough cough), and they end up building a relationship entirely through texts and phone calls—no pictures, no meeting each other, just their voices and messages and UGHH IT’S SO ROMANTIC GUYS AHHHH— Genuinely one of the best things you could read if you just want something sweet and romantic.

CAT-ASTROPHE by @dumpywrites Summary: Your pet cat keeps going to your neighbor’s apartment and it’s a problem.  Review: This is actually a two-shot, but since it’s only two parts, I decided to include it here sjddjajd. Just like the previous one, it’s SOOO cute—like, I remember literally giggling and kicking my feet while reading it. The first part doesn’t have smut, BUT! The second one does. I totally recommend reading both, their relationship is incredibly sweet, and there’s also a cat involved (which is funny considering Yoongi has a cat just like the one described in the story lol). Cat + Yoongi = happiness.

Series:

THE 25TH HOUR by @jungkoode Summary: "Everything freezes at 1:59 AM. You're not supposed to be awake, yet here you are—and so is Min Yoongi, looking at you with years of something you can't remember in his eyes. Your body knows him. Your mind doesn't. And you have exactly 60 minutes to figure out why." Review: I know most people here already know Kiki, I know, I know, BUT! No one gives this series enough recognition. Like, it genuinely deserves so much more visibility and love than it gets (I’m a loyal defender of any fic involving mint Yoongi and sci-fi). Kiki is one of the best fanfic writers I’ve ever come across, reading her fics genuinely feels like an experience of its own, and this series proves it perfectly. I don’t want to say too much about the story because I feel like almost anything could count as a spoiler in this case, but I promise it’s absolutely worth it!

LOVE IS... ON TOUR by @httpknjoon Summary:  Tell everyone you know, Love Is… On Tour! Popstar!YN is set to start her sophomore world tour with her new hit songs, sparkly outfits, and talented live band. There are 352 days of this tour, which means 352 days of YN and her new bassist, Yoongi getting on each other’s skin in every way possible. Review: When I tell you I was obsessed with this series, I mean it VERY seriously. I LOVE bassist/guitarist Yoongi, it genuinely makes me lose my mind with excitement. Band Yoongi? I’m completely sold every single time. So finding this fic, with a protagonist whose whole vibe revolves around Sabrina’s discography? Pure gold. This series is so fun to read, it has sweet moments, angst moments (dude, during the last episodes I was literally biting my nails and praying for an update to save the situation lol), and tension too (OBVIOUSLY). They’re one of my favorite couples ever, and I’m sure that if you give them a chance, they’ll become yours too <3

HOT AND BOTHERED by @ktownshizzle Summary: You’re horny af one night so you login to your fave hook-up app for a quick fix. You match with Min Yoongi, expecting a cocky rapper with a filthy mouth, but instead, you get a soft-spoken man in a designer shirt and a gummy smile. He keeps asking you out, but there’s no kiss, no sex, nothing. Each date winds you up tighter than the last, your patience (and your lingerie) hanging by a thread, and now you can’t tell what’ll snap first: his restraint or your self-control. Review: The things I felt for this Yoongi should genuinely not be considered normal, and I mean that very seriously. In general, I absolutely love the Yoongis K writes because UGHH I LOVE THEM, THEY’RE PERFECT, but this one? This one completely got me. Like, I’m genuinely not someone who goes back to reread fics more than once, but with this one I’ve reread at least three chapters just because of Yoongi. What can I say? Gentlemanly men who don’t kiss their date on the first date have a chokehold on me.
