Here are two simple tips I have to master cursive writing:

1) Choose the right pen. In terms of pen tip sizes (0.3 mm, 0.5 mm or 0.7 mm), try writing out the alphabet with different tip sizes and see which suits your handwriting best as everyone has their own writing styles such as how small, big, narrow or wide the letters are. In addition, pen type also matters. Try writing and comparing ballpoint pens and gel pens and see which one is more comfortable for you to use. I personally find gel pens more convenient to use for cursive writing as the ink flows much more easily. Gel pens glide smoothly on paper and enables me to easily create the curves I want. 

2) Practice writing the alphabet letters in capital and lower case letters. Another thing that is also very important is to practice writing the same letter joined together. For example: “ll”, “rr”  and “ss” as these are some of the quite difficult ones to write.

I study by allocating time periods for each of my subjects and focus more on certain topics that I find difficult. I take notes by summarizing chapters in the textbook and making revision flashcards. I also print and compile past papers and time myself while doing it so that I get used to exam conditions.

It usually takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to finish my notes for one chapter of a subject. However, my math notes only takes about 15 to 30 minutes as they are just a compilation of formulas and basic rules.
