Leaving the stability of employment was a huge gamble, and I’ll be honest—the uncertainty is real. But so is the need for genuine, compassionate care. By focusing on Mapagkalinga Psychosocial Services full-time, I’m not just building a clinic; I’m building a space where 'kalinga' (nurturing care) is the standard, not the exception.

To everyone who has stood by me: thank you. This isn't just my journey; it’s a commitment to the community we serve. Here’s to a year of more meaningful work and deeper healing.

So, I was driving home from a cousin’s wedding. It is late at night. Too tired buy not drunk because I did not drink because my parents are my passengers.

2kms away from home then, suddenly, I hit a car in front of me. I was apologetic.

I just want this moment to go away. I informed them that I’ll pay for it. Right away, they take photos of the damages done to the car.

They tried calling my phone numbers that I gave them because they don’t trust me.

This is a very humbling experience.

Having this tattoo by the traditional way has checked one of my bucket list.

The tattoo means freedom and travel. Which is my go to coping whenever I feel stressed out with what I do.
