hi! i know i haven't been the most active on this blog, but i wanted to bring attention to this since they decided to block me 💌

i do run another blog on here, @/sof1rs, which is something i didn't want to keep a "secret", but was never talked about it because of my own personal reasons.

from time to time i log onto this account just to check up on some stuff and when i did that last night, i was going through my following and saw an account i did not recognize. and when i clicked on their profile, it was a huge surprise to me that her theme was the exact same as mine!

usually, i don't really care if anyone takes inspo and gives me credit, but that was not the case this time! at first, i thought i was maybe seeing things (?) because it was 1am when this happened! but no... i found their side blog since it was linked in their navigation and saw they reblogged their pinned post (theme) and it was on july 19th, a day after i uploaded my theme on @/sof1rs!

soon i understood that this wasn't a coincidence because: 1. they used my same exact divider, which i made. 2. they copied my tags, WORD for WORD. so i messaged them about it, and got blocked on both accounts with still no response!

i’m not very educated on this whole topic but from what i know is that borat, (the movie the character is from) was made to disrespect kazakhstan and and make fun of them. from my understanding this made a lot of kazakh engenes upset, which i would get if it was my own culture as well.

the best we can do is educate ourselves on this before being quick to hate on jungwon for it, as well as holding him accountable until we get an apology. i’ll put the pictures and more explanation down here. please boost this as much as you can!

i’m not saying that riki is the spawn of kanye west himself and that he shares his values, but if he is comfortable speaking in official content about a man with such a disgusting history, then things need to change— and that goes for ALL the enhypen members, because they’ve also mentioned problematic artists (drake, chris brown, justin bieber) in the past.

this fandom has spent too much time letting these men go off the hook even when they fuck up, like the breast cancer event and heeseung saying the n-word (because he definitely did say that shit i’m not going to argue about that), and it’s so disturbing seeing how much grace you give them considering you don’t know them at all.

i am a supporter of enhypen, and i’m an ult riki bias, and it is BECAUSE of that that i say the things i do, because as fans, we should be looking out for these idols and that really starts with educating them when they need to be educated. recognizing your faves’ wrongdoings is not a crime, and neither is accountability. doing both and actually getting the members to see what they do wrong is what makes them better people, and better artists.
