what are you’re pro nouns
Short story: pronouns are tricky, so I try to avoid this question. She/her preferred.
Long story: At the moment, I think of myself as a woman, but haven’t made the changes to be publicly perceived as such by the public. This puts me in a “catch-22” with pronouns because he/him pronouns don’t accurately represent my identity, and using she/her pronouns publicly could lead to unnecessary confusion and, I fear sometimes, cause people to hurt me.
Right now, I use she/her in more private, trans-affirming circles and he/him in public. In all honesty, I don’t mind much if people use other pronouns, but I think she/her best fits my identity.
