whats ur opinion on ur walkman?? i wanna stop using my phone+music streaming and i was looking at sony stuff but ive never met someone who actually has it!!
WHAT I HEART ❤️ ABOUT MY SONY NW-A55:
-i can play it really, really loud because i used a special secret hack
-i can drag and drop my flacs and my m4as and my whatevers in there, or use sony's "media go" to analyze it for SensMe which is fun. (but also requires you to use an itunes ish system for your device that should be circumventing that)
-i can put a ton of music on there and its not an annoying hassle like ipod, especially bc i have flac (and i dont like rockbox for ipod.. i just dont... the stock os is too nice...) . i guess this is the same as the last one.
-sounds so gooooooood 🎶 💃 🕺
-simple and clean
WHAT I UNHEART 💔 ABOUT MY SONY NW-A55:
-no search. the os is kinda odd in general, very very basic but okay! just no search is kinda rough
-objectively less cute and whimsical feeling than ipod
idk between the two id definitely pick walkman! depending on your needs, you might want a newer one with the android os, but i wanted a "dumber" device and i quite like it...!!! i think its great! i think getting a song product is good... some of the new DAPs like hiby and stuff look pretty cool, but i feel safer with sony stuff because i can find lots of pages with people asking any question i might have so that i don't have to myself 🧘♀️ lots more documentation. anyways sorry if this wasn't super insightful but lets Walkman together
