Do you think Zalex will happen in season 3?
Signs point to no. I would hate for all of the stuff that they inserted into season two to turn out to be queerbaiting, but I have a feeling it will be. That upsets me, because it’s so unnecessary to have all of that to begin with. They could easily have a close friendship between the two guys without all the gay stuff they put in it (I mean they did it with Clustin so we know they know how). Instead, they took the connection from s1, built upon it and developed it further, and then put in a shit ton of queer subtext. And you know that it’s there when even straight people recognize it. And when entertainment media discusses it. Even so, I don’t trust any tv show.
I’m still not convinced that there’s actually anything going on between Zach and Chloe, but I think zalex canon is unlikely. I’m still rooting for it, though!
