Uhm hello there, my name is karen and I’m trying to move into a dormitory once i go back to school in the fall. Originally this GoFundMe was made so that i would be able to purchase a new laptop for school, but i feel like this is more important. So recently not only have i been cut off financially by my parents, i have now been completely shut out by my family all because i decided to come out to them. At first things were somewhat okay but suddenly everything began to spiral downhill once i told them that Christianity wasn’t for me. I kinda already knew that everything wasn’t gonna go as well as i hoped, due to the fact that i live in a strict, Christian African household...but i never thought that it would come to this.I feel like I’m tiptoeing in my own home, i 100% believe that if i make one wrong move I’ll be kicked out. I never thought that it would come tho this but I honestly don’t know what to do. I’ve been given an ultimatum....either i act in the way the want me to, or i can be tossed aside.
