Day 294
Hello there! This morning I woke up at 6am and worked out, showered, made myself a quality breakfast, relaxed, and then headed to work! It was a pretty perfect morning.
At work with my client we went grocery shopping and then made cupcakes for his birthday! He wasn't super into the baking part, but he sure loved decorating them! They turned out great.
Afterwards I headed back home, laid around, made dinner, watched a movie, and then I took a walk up to the local university and walked around campus with a very nostalgic feeling. The whole thing is a hill, so I got another lovely workout in tonight as well! Can't beat that.
Tonight, when I got on my computer, my parents skyped me, which was really the highlight of my night. They're ten minutes away, but it was still a much needed moment :)
Breakfast: Toast, banana, coffee
Lunch: Tomato basil soup
Dinner: Homefries, pineapple, orange juice
-M
Day 269-293
Oh hello there....
On behalf of A and I, I deeply apologize for this absence. We've both been insanely busy these past few weeks, but I can assure you absolutely nothing has happened remotely worth talking about...or food wise..nothing exciting.
Oh. A new nephew of mine was born. That's worth noting..
WE'RE SORRY. We're pretty disappointed in ourselves for skipping so many days, don't you worry about that.
Also we got deeply addicted to Buffy and that has consumed all of our free time. You understand, I'm sure.
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner: Vegan and vegetarian delights.
-M
Day 268
Hello there! Today I worked with my client and we got a wee bit accomplished. He wasn't in the working mood right off the bat, so we didn't get started til almost noon. Oh well. It is what it is, y'all.
After work I went on a lovely bike ride! It felt like a fall day- cloudy and chilly, but I loved every second. It started sprinkling as I was leaving, but I embraced it.
Afterwards I made my roommate and I a stir fry for dinner. And then proceeded to watch an unhealthy amount of Buffy.
And now I'm skyping with A! This is what dreams are made of.
Breakfast: Rye toast with peanut butter and strawberry jam
Lunch: Veggie burrito
Dinner: Stir-fry with kale, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, carrots, and black beans Fresh pineapple
-M
Day 264, 265, 266, 267
Day 264 Saturday
I worked at the restaurant in the morning where it was SO dead. I expected it to be a bit busy with everyone being out and about with their Easter activities, but nopers. It was good though, and I made some pretty good tips.Â
Afterwards I watched 30 Rock and finished it, unfortunately. I absolutely love that show. Then I packed up a few things and went home for Easter! I stayed overnight so that I could help with things in the morning.
Breakfast: Cranberry and granola cereal
Lunch: Veggie wrap
Dinner: A fruit, I'm sure
Day 265 Sunday
Happy Easter! This was definitely one of the best holiday's I've had in a whole. It was just my dad's side and it was honestly so nice and chill. My relatives offered to help any time they could and my mom actually got to relax and have fun. A very nice change from normal holiday's. That's all I wanted.
Easter Dinner: asparagus, mashed potatoes, rolls, sushi (homemade by me), matzo balls (veganized), sweet potatoes
Day 266 Monday
My client had an appointment so I had the full day off! I used this wonderful opportunity to FINALLY go buy myself a bike. I searched for about 2 and a half hours and I eventually settled on a lovely black and red Schwinn. After I stuffed it in my car (lololol no bike rack yet) I headed back to my apartment, put some different songs on my phone, and then headed to Bloom Beach to bike along the trail! It was pretty perfect. But oh yep I was sore afterwards.
I spent the rest of the night watching Buffy. What else?
Breakfast: An apple and a pear
Lunch: Banana
Dinner: Some easter leftovers
Day 267 Tuesday
I worked with my client during the day and we got a few things done. It was a dreary and rainy day, so naturally not a whole lot got accomplished.
Afterwards I watched Buffy for hours on end. This is my life. These are my choices.Oh, and A and I made some homemade Frappucino's! I made a mocha frappe. I have yet to perfect it, but it was definitely my best one yet!
Breakfast: Apple
Lunch: Easter leftovers
Dinner: Matzo's, Frappe

Day 268
Today I had to work 12-8, so before I went out and watered the garden, worked out, made some stovetop popcorn, and watched a little Buffy. Work was slowish but I had a ton of pottery to glaze and a bunch of boxes to move into storage. FUN. I really need to get a job closer to home or somewhere completely far away.Â
Breakfast:
Greek yogurt w/ blueberries, chia seeds, and almond slices
Lunch:
Kind bar, clementines, popcorn, carrots, half of a veggie sub
Dinner:
uhmmmmm basically lunch and dinner were combined.
-A
Day 267
I also had today off for the luncheon I photographed for the Norfolk Society of Arts. I was super nervous beforehand but when I got there I was fine! There was a lecture by the editor of Town and Country magazine  and now author of several books. After a fancy luncheon with delicious looking food that i wish I could have eaten!Â
When I got home I had a beer and just laid around for awhile….and did the dishes for my mamma. Then a Buffy marathon happened. DONT JUDGE.Â
I'm currently editing photos/watching buffy because multitasking is a good skill you should have...
Breakfast:
cereal w/ almond milk
Lunch:
Toast w/ almond butterÂ
Dinner:
Kale salad & cheese pizza
-A
Day 266
Today I had off! I got up, worked out, and then headed over to Wal-Mart to pick up the film I dropped off a couple of weeks ago. I got there and apparently it's "special order" even though it's just regular 35 mm film….ugh….so it's not done yet. BUT the lady was nice and gave me a coupon for the batteries I was buying! She said she wouldn't have given it to some people but I was nice so she did hahahaa.
A good portion of the day I was picking out an outfit to wear for the luncheon I'm photographing tomorrow. Probably took me like an hour. Ugh. Clothes are annoying. Should have just worn my pajamas.Â
Later skyped with the lovely M :) Good end to my night.
Breakfast:
Cereal w/ almond milk
Lunch:
kale salad w/ homemade italian dressing & hard boiled egg
Dinner:
mashed potato pancakesÂ
-A

Today I had to work from 10-4…I hardly got any sleep so I was majorly tired. Luckily it wasn't too incredibly busy and when I got off I just wanted to go straight to bed. I went straight to my bed and watched some buffy…and then made a delicious basil pesto pasta with feta and spinach.Â
Now skyping with the lovely M :)Â

Hard boiled eggs, clementines

Day 263
Hello there! Today was a pretty quality day. My client and I made easter baskets for his parents! He picked out everything and then we assembled everything together at my apartment. He even signed the card and was so proud of himself. I also got stuff to make baskets for my roommate and her boyfriend, which I am SO excited about. I'm going to write them a note saying I hid them in the apartment, and they'll have to find it. I am so pumped.
Work tonight at the restaurant was hella busy, but I worked with lovely people, so I didn't mind all that much.
Breakfast: Pear Apple
Lunch: Carrots, some foccacia bread
Dinner: Leftover black beans in a can hahaha
-M
Day 262
Hello there! Today I had the whole day off! I woke up early to go to a doctors appointment, which I was very much dreading. But I still went! My appointment ended up being the best, and quickest, appointment I think I've ever had in my life. My doctor was the sister of someone I had went to high school with, and she's absolutely hilarious. I'm not even sure if she told me what was wrong, but we just talked and made some jokes and laughed a shit ton. It was literally the best.
Later on in the day I met up with some friends for lunch at a super wonderful burrito joint. It was a beautiful day out so I walked to the restaurant in the sunshine. It was perfect. I really just need to stop talking about buying a bike and just do it already.
After lunch I went back to my apartment, hung out with my roomie, and then watched 30 Rock for hours. However I did do a workout in the middle of my marathon. So at least there was that. The end.
Breakfast: Pear
Lunch: Tofu burrito with black beans, refried beans, BBQ Rice, guacamole, Â lettuce, tomato, onion
Dinner: Carrots and a pear
-M
Day 261
I got up early to take Bonnie to work, and I ended up just staying to paint until I had to work at 2. It's crazy this week because of Spring Break and also Easter coming up. So many kidlings. When I did clock in it was super busy until about 4 an it slowed down a lot which I was thankful for.Â
I am currently skyping with M who is wearing my sweatshirt that she STOLE (ItotallyjustliedIgaveittoher).Â
Breakfast:
Berry Oatmeal
Lunch:
KIND Granola bar, banana, lemon greek yogurt
Dinner:
Roasted Red Pepper soup, lime greek yogurt, brown rice crackers

Day 260 & 261
Day 260
I woke up early to a DOWNPOUR of rain. It rained all day hella lot. My client, like the day, was sleepy and glum, so naturally nothing happened good for me all day in terms of work. Finally I gave up and went back to my apartment and watched a few episodes of 30 Rock til I had to get ready to go to dinner with some friends which turned out to just be me sitting staring out the window while they talked about things I wasn't apart of and then ignoring me when I did talk. Super fun. (mini rant) Then I came home and watched a bunch more episodes of 30 Rock because I'm cool like that.
Breakfast: Cranberry and almond cereal
Lunch:Â Leftover mashed potatoes
Dinner:Â Veggie wrap and sweet potato fries Peanut Butter Ale
Day 261
Today was client was in a much better mood! Hurrah!! We went on a bunch of errands and actually got a whole lot accomplished. Â It turned out to be a much better day than expected! It was also beautiful out, which was a great addition to this day.
I had work at the restaurant tonight and it was pretty steady all night, but overall not too shabby. Nothing exciting there.
And now I am skyping with the person I am head over heels in love with. So yeah. It's a pretty great night.
Breakfast:Â Cranberry and almond cereal
Lunch:Â Pear Banana
Dinner:Â Side salad at work

Day 260
Today I had to work at 2 and it was a horribly stormy, windy day. I did NOT want to drive. Luckily work wasn't too horrible, but when Bonnie & I left it was pouring and freezing cold! We headed over to Harris Teeter to get some wine, and when we got back into my car a shopping cart with a race car seat for kids came zooming in the direction of my car…I screamed "CART!!" and Bonnie screamed as it crashed into the passenger side door and left two big dents in my car. GREAT. JUST GREAT. Then to make everything even better, later Bonnie's boyfriend took her roommates boyfriend to work ( we all went with) and after his car went through a big puddle the engine stopped working and Bonnie's mom had to pick us up. It was a great time.Â
After that hell, we came back and watched Serenity which was fabulous and all was good in the world again.Â
Breakfast:
Greek yogurt w/ blueberries and gluten free cereal on top
Lunch:
GF burritoÂ
Dinner:
Wine and mandarin oranges
-A
Day 259
Hello there! I'm pretty sure I have Strep....so it's been a fun day, let's just say. My throat is uber swollen so I've tried not to talk all day. It's been a dream, really. It was a beautiful day so my client and I went to Bloom Beach and walked along the path. It was quite nice. We did some other things and then I dropped him off home. Once I got back to my apartment I conked out out for 2 hours. I then got up and went back to my clients to take him to Special Olympics tennis. So that was lovely!
Right now I am ending my day skyping with A, whose face I have missed so incredibly much.
Breakfast:Â Pear
Lunch:Â Soft pretzel
Dinner: Mashed potatoes Banana Apple
