This chart is purely based on what the ninja spent their nights doing. It was back-to-back action, especially on the night of that Thunderfang fight. They could have rested during the maybes or the day though!

I think Kai, Jay, and Nya probably found some time to rest either in the monster or in the administration. Similarly Lloyd & Arin could have napped in the Whispering Woods and Wyldfire, Frak, Sora, and Riyu could have found some time in Umbrasilvis or Dawnland. Still, in none of those scenarios were they getting more than a few hours.

20 Episodes over 4 days of In-Show Time

Here's my detailed list of the events based on the day night cycles. My thanks to Agent Underwood for giving me a starting point for the days of the week. ("Casual Friday.")

So crazy that in the span of 4 days:

Arin left Ras, found his parents, and started crushing on Euphrasia.

Jay realized his love for Nya & regained his memories.

Cole excavated a god, died, and went to prison.

Lloyd found Arin's parents, defied the gods, discovered the whispering woods, and underwent the trials.

Zane had a life-changing vacation.

Ghosts, Elemental Monsters, and the Empress wrecked havoc on Imperium - new Ninjago City over here.

Certainly a record. If it was up to me, this would be longer, but they show every single night and day cycle. I think the events of episode 11 - the funeral, Zane/Pix vacation exit, the journey start - could theoretically not all be on one day, but even that episode starts with showing the Thursday night soul stealings.

The vaguest thing here is when night was for Kai, Jay, and Nya because they spent so much time in windowless areas. It could have been when they were waiting for dawn in the monster's belly, but, considering the portal split happened Sunday Morning, I doubt they spent 24 hours there. Night could have also happened while they were waiting for Rapton or before they went to the Administration. I really don't love back to back action like this. It's fine in the short-term, but I kind of wish it had taken them a month or so to journey back from "the farthest corners of the merged realms." To be fair, I think Ras was just lying to psych out Wu.

Hopefully there's more of a break between part one and two. Or at least time for these guys to sleep, because if not they might actually die.

I turned the maybes into yes/no based on speculation. I don't think Ras would have let Sora/Arin sleep during the journey. Lack of sleep is a great brainwashing tool. I think Zane kept watch for Lloyd, therefore letting Arin sleep. I think Kai, Nya, and Jay either slept in the belly or while waiting for Rapton. I also think most of the ninja all had times for naps in one point in their journey or another. The kids had some time in Umbrasilvis/Dawnland. Kai, Nya, and Jay had the monster's belly. Lloyd wouldn't have napped on his own accord, but fortunately got knocked out by visions.
