I'll never understand people who claim their favourite character is Noelle while saying they don't think her relationship with Kris is important. Like this isn't even a shipping thing. If you go through all of her dialogue it might genuinely be the thing she talks about most. It's at least in the top 3. Of course that is partly filtered through the lens that we are playing as Kris but still. You don't like a large percentage of your favs dialogue? You think most of her dialogue is unimportant? You really just think the relationship her theme is named after isn't important at all to her characterisation?
Is there any good Berdly fan content you guys can recommend that isn't Kerdly where the creator has never meaningfully engaged with Kris as a character.
It can be Kerdly just you know. I want it to actually be Kris.

Deltafell/Defernull weird route concept where it's all about sanding down Noelle's rough edges and replacing her with something more palatable. Woobification as in universe horror. This Noelle is so mean so entitled wouldn't you rather she be something closer to her normal Deltarune self?
Imagine a conceptual game like this. And chapter 2 ends with Noelle having a row with Susie or Ralsei not just a little spat but a big argument. One that could leave certain people not liking her or wishing the scene wasn't in the game or pretend it never happened. Well here's an option you can make the scene not happen by doing the weird route. Get rid of that pesky personality that made you so uncomfortable and spare your favs feelings? Isn't that wonderful? Why engage with the worse parts of this characters identity when you can just avoid it?

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys it. I don't really think it's a story for everyone. You will probably need to take away your own meaning to find value in it. I get the feeling many people will reach slightly different conclusions about what they read.

I already know I'm gonna regret making this post and truly nothing interests me less than ai discourse but the fact when I search the meaning of something and a stupid ai summarisation pops up and not the clear dictionary definition is a bridge too fucking far.
I think the core difference between Kralsusie and Krusielle other than just Ralsei and his relationships to Susie and Kris Vs Noelle's is that at their core Kris, Susie and Ralsei are a trio while Kris, Susie and Noelle are at their core a series of duos.
Kralsusie are a set a team they work together as a trio very well making it easy to do fluff and sweetness without much jealousy.
While with Krusielle they've got to build up to that leaving room for angst and pining not wanting to get in between the other duo but also not wanting to get left behind.
Do you think if Kris had gone missing instead of Dess the Dreemurrs with their signature complete inability to deal with grief ability would give Kris the chara treatment of just refusing to acknowledge their familial ties?
Kris was my best friend, they were someone I knew a long time ago, the human who lived here.

If Queen is meant to be a Darkner version of Carol and is family to Noelle and Tenna is a Darkner version of Asgore and considers himself family to the Dreemurrs then does that mean Queentenna counts as yet another Holiday x Dreemurr ship?
I feel like the Viltrumites getting used to earth and assimilating with humanity is probably gonna only get one episode (if that) next season but I'll be honest I think that concept could carry its own show. Like seeing Ultra powerful space extreme Darwinists who've never had to take a no in their life suddenly having to blend in with humans put up with all our bullshit and get absolutely folded by the concept of genuine love and affection? I'd watch 10 seasons of just that.

Like...Daeron fought so hard to keep Egg's inner boy alive. To send him away from the royalty and toxicness of the throne and house Targaryen. And Aemon made him kill it. Made him kill the boy. Made him kill sweet little egg who liked fishing all for the sake of the throne for the sake of the royalty of the family he despises.

My ultimate dark souls/soulsborne whatever hot take is that Dark Souls 2 is just fine... It's got really good and really bad parts sprinkled on top of a base that's pretty bland. For every area, character or boss thats either brilliant or horse shit there's three that are just...there.
It's not really worth its own discourse or reputation.
