WHY EATING SEASONALLY IS IMPORTANT

•save money - food is at it’s highest supply

•food is better - it is grown closer to home so less likely to rot

•support local, sustainable farmers

However I feel like earth has been too messed up to find a fitting seasonal chart… I always buy cherries locally in june, not july. Even may sometimes…

I’m also noticing apricot in july but mine are all blooming already in march. This is so weird. I remember eating cherries in july as a kid. Things are changing and probably for the worst with global warming.

You may think “Cool!! More sun and heat equal earlier fruits then!” But it also means this summer everything will burn. Every summer these past years i see burnt plants. I water them over evening but I feel like the heat is starting to feel out of control.
