these kinda suck but it was honestly so fun to draw on a drawing tablet.

I think we, as a fandom, are not talking enough about how Iruma cut himself with a knife. He didn't hesitate because of the pain. He hesitated because he was considering the consequences.

I'm not saying Iruma hurts himself typically. I'm just saying he's been hurt so many times that he didn't think about in the sense "I'm hurting myself", he thought about "I'm helping Shiida". He didn't consider it hurting himself.

I just think it's interesting that he can't really make that distinction anymore, because he's been hurt so much. I'm also not saying he shouldn't've done it, it's implied Shiida may have died if he didn't interfere, but still.

All this to say, it's also wild that someone offered him the knife, and that no one had a reaction to Iruma slicing his own palm, not even the adults who didn't know the truth, and were, therefore not having even a sliver of contemplation if Iruma counted as one of the "Underworld's treasures" because he is a kid.
