Azul has always been someone who deals in knowledge. If someone’s keeping a secret, he’ll know it’s there.
Which is precisely why ___, the prefect from Ramshackle, bothered him so much. Within months, this person popped into the school and had become close with many of the most powerful people in it. He himself kept them at arm’s length, but.. it was a lot harder when they were so.. genuine.
Someone who genuine shouldn’t be so unknowable.
It wasn’t until he overheard some of the other housewardens and their vices discussing the Ramshackle prefect during one of their few absences to the housewarden meetings.
Riddle assumed ___ wasn’t informed of the meeting, though Trey seemed to think it wasn’t outside the realm of possibility that they might have skipped.
Leona figured the prefect wasn’t the slacking off type, but that they probably got themselves into trouble, which Ruggie backed up by mentioning how easy it is for them to find trouble.
Kalim seemed to worry at the thought of the prefect getting into trouble, while Jamil seemed to think they’d be able to handle it themselves if they did.
Vil assured that the prefect was a very resourceful individual, which Rook took as a chance to praise the Ramshackle prefect for their strengths, even though they weren’t present to receive them.
Idia even spoke up, mentioning that they might have overslept, given how long the walk is from Ramshackle, and how there’s no magic mirror. This sentiment made Ortho nod sympathetically, expressing that it must be hard on the prefect.
Even Malleus had arrived with Lilia, which certainly put the Ramshackle prefect’s absence in a greater spotlight. Malleus, the cold and generally hard to read leader of the Diasomnia dorm, even somehow felt a kindred spirit in the Ramshackle Prefect - How and when did HE come into contact with them?? Lilia only backed up the sentiments, almost acting as if Diasomnia was close with Ramshackle.
Jade even mused on how quiet Azul was being, teasefully inquiring if his silence was because of the prefect.
Enough was enough.
“None of us really know a thing about ___, do we?”
The room blinked in a quiet pause, only for a few of the folks to laugh at the idea.
“Of course we know ___”
“They’ve helped us so much”
“I don’t know about the rest of you, but we’re actually friends.”
A lively debate was beginning to rouse at the topic of who would be considered a friend of the prefect, which just caused Azul’s nose to scrunch up in disgust.
“Alright, I’ll go ahead and list off everything we all know about ___. Please, everyone, feel free to add to the list. Facts only, please.”

The room starts to get quiet as the gears start turning and the leaders begin to reassess what they know about the Ramshackle Prefect. They weren’t exactly kind, they weren’t exactly mean, they weren’t exactly a slouch, but they weren’t exactly a go-getter.
Jamil starts to see a pattern of similarity that he doesn’t like.
