feel like briefly enough aspec terms like aro or ace are loose enough as general umbrella terms like nonbinary, anzu personally does not care about labels for either romance nor sexuality that much so anzu just uses aroace because they feel fit enough to anzu as is. generally for anzu, just have a sort of weird view on both romance and sexuality that's very much distanced from the norm if this tells you anything..

as for relationships, aspec people can be in a relationship and this pretty much varies from person to person! have a friend that does just see their partner as the closest person in their life and they're both aroace; some people may prefer to use other terms for relationships and not care about romance and sexuality in general but can indulge in stuff related to it for their partner; sometimes you just love someone a lot in a way that you can feel does not fit into platonic ways and you still wish to call them yours; sometimes allo partners of aspec people also just don't indulge in whichever aspec their partner is into :) (i.e if only aro then nothing intimate that'd fit into romantic actions and such).. it is very vast and there can go many ways not even described among the bunch..

for anzu, used to also be very icked and uncomfortable with the thought of relationships generally.. feel like broadly speaking, anzu still is, emil just is very important to anzu. terms like boyfriend/girlfriend etc also throw anzu off a bit, but anzu does enjoy emil's own used words of lover and beloved.. may be kind of generic but frankly anzu also hasn't really thought of them much prior 😊 so anzu likes using lover for him mostly, yes.. feel like anzu may have spoken of it before but not entirely sure either, anzu also does think anzu genuinely has not experienced any actual romantic feelings anzu's whole entire life until emil. despite this, anzu still prefers keeping the labels because they describe anzu's views and feelings broadly the best.

in anzu's own view, anzu tends to fluctuate a lot especially speaking on romantic stuff.. sometimes anzu wishes to indulge in it, sometimes not at all, and if it weren't for emil anzu would not feel the need for it at all.. as for the yume stuff, it may be a bit dumb to say it's just sort of become a way for anzu to experience some series in anzu's own way. anzu is never ever hardly attached to any one character like that as other yumejo/danshi are..! and anzu tends to hop from character to character often if so lol but for those too, it's usually just anzu putting them in a situation ☝️ personally
