MAIN RULES OF PLAYING DODGEBALL GAME
Hit - When a player of one team throws a dodgeball and directly hits the body of a player on the opposing team, the opposing player is out. When hit, the player must drop any ball he is holding and leave the court. If a ball hits a player but is then caught by a teammate, the thrower is out.
Catching - The ball is important in dodgeball because it affects both teams. If a player throws a ball towards the opposing team and a player catches the ball, the thrower is removed.
Blocking - Incoming balls can be blocked by either moving away from the ball or touching a live ball to divert another incoming live ball. To successfully block, the player must ensure that no part of their hand holding the blocking ball first touches the incoming ball and therefore the player is outside.
Dodging - Jumping, sliding, flipping, rolling and ducking are legal to do in these games. Dodging is what makes this game possible. If players can't avoid incoming throws the game is less fun.
Boundaries - A player is not allowed to exit their half of the court or they will be considered to exit.
