Another show I’ve been into recently is ‘Ni Hao, Kai-Lan’. Honestly, I love everything about this show from the designs, music and way they teach lessons. The gifs above are from the episode ‘Lulu Day’. Fair to say that Lulu is my fave!!! :D

You’re feeling small, and the Eleventh Doctor notices. No monsters today, just soft words, safe arms, and the TARDIS humming you to sleep.

The TARDIS hums gently around you, lights flickering blue and gold. You’re curled up in the corner of the control room, legs tucked under you, oversized jumper sleeves dangling past your hands.
The Doctor is dancing around the console, whacking levers and spinning wheels like he’s conducting a particularly unhinged orchestra.
“Okay! So. The TARDIS wants to go to, no idea where, frankly! Somewhere fun. Probably dangerous. Possibly covered in goo. Goo is underrated. Though last time it tried to eat me. Or propose. Hard to remember.”
He glances over his shoulder at you with that enormous, slightly manic grin.
You blink at him sleepily, clutching your stuffie tighter. Your paci bobs in your mouth as you pout, overwhelmed by the motion and noise.
“Oi.”
He stops dead. His brow furrows.
“That’s a sad little face. What’s this then?”
You let out a muffled whine.
Immediately he’s down on his knees, bow tie askew, hair in total chaos, peering at you like you’re a mysterious alien life form he must understand.
“Oh. Oh, I see. Bit small today, eh?”
His voice drops to that gentle he saves for the truly scared.
“Should’ve noticed. Silly me. Silly old Time Lord. Come here.”
You shrink back, shaking your head.
“Ah, no? Fair. Consent. Very important. The most important! Rule number… well, it’s up there.”
He backs off immediately, hands up in surrender.
“But! If you want, I can make it better. I’m brilliant at snuggles. Officially trained on seventeen planets. Even got a diploma. In crayon.”
You sniff, watching him warily. He tilts his head, waiting patiently.
Finally you hold out your arms.
His face lights up like Christmas and twin suns rising at once.
“Oh, thank you for inviting me. Tiny one.”
He gathers you carefully, like you’re spun sugar, and carries you to the jump seat. He sits, settling you on his lap and rocking you gently.
“There we go. That’s better. Look at us. Best friends in time and space.”
You hide your face in his tweed jacket. He wraps his arms tighter around you, humming some nonsense tune with no melody at all.
“Shhh… TARDIS says she’ll go slow. She likes you, you know. Very picky, my girl. Won’t even let half the universe in, but you? You’re precious cargo.”
You giggle around your paci.
He gasps theatrically.
“Did you laugh? Oh that’s it. You’re mine now. Sorry. Rules. Gallifreyan adoption law. Very strict. Look it up.”
You make another happy noise.
He bounces you gently in time with the TARDIS’ rhythmic hum.
“Feel better? Good. Because I’d never leave you alone like that. My little star. If you want to be tiny today, that’s brilliant. I’ll be enormous for both of us. Deal?”
You nod sleepily.
“Good. Nap time. Doctor’s orders. Very official. Need a prescription? I’ll write it in crayon later.”
He presses a soft kiss to your forehead.
“No monsters. Just us.”
And you drift off in the Doctor’s arms as the TARDIS drifts through the Vortex.

Both of them are very protective of their little. Amy’s a mumma bear meanwhile Rory’s a Roman (literally).
They do very well at taking care of their little, although Rory in particular is still trying to understand and adjust to age regression. He’s heard of it and had patients who’s experienced it but has never had the role of a proper caregiver outside of work. While Amy seems to always know what to do, he feels a bit lost figuring out the highs and lows of regression. He’s trying though!
Lots of stories to tell! Amy and Rory never run out of crazy and funny stories to tell to their little one, especially at bedtime or family time.
Gardening! Amy would definitely let her little play in the garden. Whether it be making mud pies, playing with the gnomes or teasing the fish at the little pond. But the BEST thing to do is look after the flowers and veggies!!
Rory would always have his first aid kit ready for when things go wrong. He almost always keeps character plasters and stickers for when you’re brave!
Imaginative play and expression is heavily encouraged in the Pond household. No one feels lonely or left behind or bored. Amy and Rory are always happy to play (unless it’s bedtime or the crack of dawn.)
Amy does the best baking! She loves making biscuits and cakes when she can. She would always let her little one help out.
Rory loves singing songs to you and playing music on his guitar when you’re sad! Silly, funny, mellow, upbeat; he’s got it all!
When the Doctor is over, there’s always a fun family activity to do together, inside, outside or in time and space.
Unconditional love and affection thrives in their house. Lots of pet names such as ‘poppet’, ‘munchkin’, ‘sweetie’ and so on.
They have a spare room in their house for their little when they stay! It’s filled with everything their little could want! (And many plushies!!!)

Today was a challenge to say the least. I finally had the courage to take care of myself by brushing my teeth and showering.
These things are usually hard for me due to my Autism and OCD, but even harder due to my relapse.
Ever since January’s massive shutdown, I’ve been struggling mentally and been just surviving.
This entire week has been beyond unlucky, wherever it’s been not going to school, problems within my family and anxiety attacks. It’s been scary, and has left me feeling small.
Back to today however…I did manage to do some self care and clean up a bit.
I had to go out with family today, which was scary because it was a new place, a place I’ve never been!
Then one of the hardest challenges was going downstairs (I live in a flat). There was s**k on one of the steps. We were walking down when one of my family members saw it, which made me run away for a bit. I started panicking and crying. It was really horrible, as it gave me trauma flashbacks.
But…I managed!
I managed to find an alternative way to get out thanks to the kind staff at our concierge. We went to the shopping centre at the place we were going and that’s how I got all the things pictured above! They’re all so cute!!! :3
It was hard being a big girl today, but it really paid off in the end.

Today I went to the park after a hard time. On my way out I found some loosely picked daffodils, so I picked two up and brought them home. I took a photo of Lyra holding them! I love flowers and spring ^^
