The Lost Soul

You will fix yourself not because you need to, but because you want to. You want to fix yourself because of that someone. That’s when you’ll know, you already moved on.

One thing that scares me the most is to outgrow some of my friends. Those were the people who were a part of me and never, ever thought of losing them. I just want them to be with me along with this journey. However, I realized that having them is not healthy for my well-being. They’re not mad but everything of them has changed. Loyalty isn’t there anymore and honesty, they’ll be waiting for it to use them against me, to destroy me. It pains me to let go of them but it’ll be worse if I keep them. This is how you outgrow friends; let go or see yourself low.

Dear Self

Initial feelings get faded Until someone shows up and let your heart be guarded. Of all people you’ve met You never know who will stay and will never forget. Things have change again Broken hearts, pieces by pieces, getting away from chain Calling it lesson or a  blessing No one can differentiate, only purely guessing Through it all, sadness… sadness…. Sadness that’s already encrypt in the mind Telling you you’re worthless But I tell you, honey, you’re one of a kind. Pain, feelings get dump, no one to hold Yet here you are still fighting And the world is still keep on spinning Leaving you wonder, who will be there even if you’re cold. Waiting, thinking, hoping, asking Too much of everything hurts When will it end, your heart is sinking. When will you rise, from all of it.

Maybe it wasn’t the “almost” that broke my heart. It was the long nights we spent together, and how you made me feel, like i was so far in the sky no plane could bring me back down. Again, it wasn’t the almost. It was the maybe. Maybe i’m loved, maybe i won’t hurt, maybe we will be together, it was false hope that broke my heart.
