When a genius is passionate about something, he devotes all his time, all his soul, body, money and opportunities to it, achieving more and more successes, which is why it seems strange, incomprehensible, frightening and "eccentric".

But Rei... doesn't.

The only proof of his eccentricity was the role of a vampire, which he never treated sincerely. He didn't want to be a vampire and never believed that he was a vampire. And in general, he suffered before our eyes from the fact that there is nothing interesting and exciting in his life.

And after that, he completely gave himself up to the charms of an ordinary, pleasant and unremarkable human life, which he wanted.

He's so not proud of his talents that he would not mind lowering his IQ level. He does not seek to create something amazing, something that has never existed before. He strives to live the way everyone around him lives.

I would say that this amazing, talented, brilliant man, who can and knows how to do absolutely everything, is unusual in his mundaness. Or even, in his pursuit of the mundane.
