oooooh really good question.... hmm......... koga seems like the type to need glasses but refuse to wear them bc he thinks it makes him look less cool. shu having reading glasses makes sense to me. i can imagine niki and mayoi having glasses too but mayoi would be really inconsistent about wearing them since hes always in the ceilings and would prolly take them off bc hes nervous abt breaking them. one of my oremeru hcs is that he actually needs glasses but since kaname didnt, he wears contacts. also sort of unrelated but chiakis glasses are so cute i love that we still occasionally get to see him wear them post sad wet shivering kitten era

ive never thought ritsus relationships were unbalanced tbh? hes trustworthy and supportive to anyone that needs it (even if his help occasionally comes with snarky comments and minor inconveniences), but hes also a bit high maintenance and relies heavily on the people he's close with, and theyre happy to support him. his relationships are pretty solid imo!!

ohhh the thing i said abt how it recontexualizes how ritsu talks to and interacts w koga? yea sure. ok so theyve been close friends for a long time. ritsu expresses affection w his close friends in a specific way that could arguably be seen as flirting if you look at it from the right angle, but we know it's not bc he treats mao differently. that combined w the fact that we know mao is his love interest confirms that he is actually flirting w mao, and what he does with the rest of his friends isnt flirting. thing is, like mao, he also treats koga differently from everyone else. but that doesnt immediately mean hes flirting w koga... they have a unique relationship bc theyve seen each other so often over the years thanks to rei. but still, their relationship does stand out against the rest of ritsus friends. SO. if you were to add the hc that ritsu IS interested in koga, then reread some of their canon interactions with that new context, it seems like ritsu is hitting on koga.
