Finally! It’s done!

But maybe, eventually, he starts to forget little details. Some freckles, how long his ears were, the hue of the morning light in his pelt, the texture of hands. Then the art slowly gets worse, blurred, to the point Macaque isn't recognizable anymore? Like a long half-forgotten nightmare dream?

Avery is fortunately very expressive and fun to draw and they both kept me company all night 🫶🟢

I think I may have gone overboard with this, but I spent too much time on it to go back now and I really like the sunset gradient! I don't know if it was worth trading the simplicity/original grey vibe but I think it still looks pretty.
