Hello everyone! It’s July 27, so happy Kataang Week 2026! 🥳 Creators: we cannot wait to see what you have in store for us! But if you've not made an entry, your role is still just as important. Remember to get out there and enjoy the fanworks that are going to be plentiful this week. Like, comment, share... spread around the Kataang joy!

Here are some reminders and guidelines for the week:

For those sharing works on Tumblr, remember to use #kataang week and #kataangtag to help us track your entries. You can also tag the blog (@kataang-week) to notify us. If we haven’t reblogged your post in 24 hours, feel free to send us an ask.

For those of you who will be posting your works on AO3, feel free to add your fic to our KW26 AO3 collection.

As you post, please follow the prompt schedule. Late entries are totally fine, but avoid posting for prompts ahead of their scheduled day. This helps to spread the enjoyment throughout the week.

Please feel free to share your fanworks on other socials as well. @ dailykataang on twt and @ kataangweek on insta are leading the charge on their respective platforms.

Works of all styles and content ratings are accepted. Please remember to tag accordingly and spoiler if needed. If your work contains an image, using alt text is suggested (though not required for the event.)

Please make sure that your work, whether a stand alone piece or a new chapter in an ongoing series, is original and new for the event.
