I’ve been Roleplaying since I was in high school, more than 15 years ago and I’ve never encountered such a toxic, simple minded community like Tumblr. I first used this site for RP back in 2013 and took a very long break of it…now that I return and see the shit show that has been happening? What is going on??

I literally can’t believe that we are in 2023 people are still causing witch hunts and problems over FICTIONAL WRITING. And instead of block and move on they keep going and going, gathering other people (who have NOTHING to do with the issue) and turning it into something big and unnecessary. Do you know how ridiculous you all are?

I don’t give a fuck about your sexual preferences, what you like, what you don’t like, or what causes you triggers because guess what, you can control who you interact with. Read the god damn rules in peoples blogs and guess what, YOU WON’T HAVE AN ISSUE. That is (or was) the nice thing about Tumblr, you kept the anonymity and you can CHOOSE who to write with!! I came here ONLY to write and so did a lot others. WOW why is this such a complicated concept?

My boyfriend is writing a character that is right now an older teenager in the anime and he decided to age him up to write better stories with him and expand in the universe. Why is this such a problem? Why do you all care so much about this? BLOCK and move on. Stop spilling shit. Stop spreading false rumors or anything in hope of ruining someone’s day/week…. OVER FICTION.

Why is this so hard to comprehend? Do people don’t know how to read? Do you all comprehend if someone wants to write a serial killer, monsters, age up a character, dictators, prostitutes I don’t know… whatever its their cup of tea THAT IS THEIR BUSINESS NOT YOURS. Writing some problematic characters does NOT EQUAL that the person that is writing said character ACCEPTS these things in real life!! I don't get why this is so hard to understand?

We all came here to write up amazing stories, and spice things up a little bit with world building. It’s not my fault or anyone else’s that 80% of this website is a goddamn Tinder. Not everyone wants to write smut.
