FACTS
1. First of all — his design. I think you’ve probably noticed it yourself, but Byron’s design is very snake-coded — cobra-coded, to be more precise. I once saw a great breakdown of his design, will add photo and credits below, I honestly think he has one of the coolest designs in the entire game. It combines so many awesome elements that it’s hard to even wrap your head around it 😭😭

Also, the “rings” on his fingers aren’t actually rings — they’re bandages from snake bites. You can see this in the concept art if you look closely :3
On top of that, his “snake-like” nature is hinted at by the fact that he literally drags out the “s” sound in his voice lines, which is a really fun detail!!
2. Previously, before his description was changed, it used to say something like “Do not call him a homeopath.” (Not exactly a super rare fact, but people don’t really talk about it and many don’t seem to know it, so I decided to include it hehe.)
3. His voice actor, Steven Kelly, said that he was inspired by Mr. Benedict from Last Action Hero (https://youtu.be/g37jG0vn5CA?si=5zz_8xAO7Kd34alo)
4. In the "Brawl-O-Ween Stories!" animation, there’s a frame (00:08) where you can see a painting behind Mortis depicting Belle and Byron. It’s a reference to the famous real-life painting American Gothic by Grant Wood. After this painting appeared, many people started theorizing that Belle and Byron might be married, but as we later learned after Sam was introduced, that’s not the case. Still, it’s quite possible they’re somehow connected — their designs might even hint at it (though that’s more my own speculation and headcanons). Also, a fun fact: the model for the man in the original painting was a dentist named Byron :)
5. Not exactly a fact, but rather a theory that isn’t talked about much: if you’ve ever tried to dive into the lore of Brawl Stars, you probably know about the WKBRL radio, which gave us small hints about the story. If not, here’s a quick explanation: there used to be YouTube streams showing a radio that could start broadcasting at any moment. When it did, it played various audio recordings and ads that slightly showed the world of Starr Park and what was happening there, giving people material for theories. In the lore, there’s an organization called SPUDE that opposes Starr Park and everything happening inside it. The radio streams are divided into three phases (three separate streams), and in the third phase, WKBRL 3.0, there’s a moment where an unknown scientist starts speaking, delivering a very strange lore-heavy speech (I won’t retell it so this post doesn’t become ridiculously long, but here’s the moment:https://youtu.be/131yR9aCajU). Based on similarities in speech patterns (the scientist stretches out the “s” sound just like Byron), the fact that Byron is also a kind of scientist, and mentions of poison, it’s very likely that Byron is that scientist — and that he’s part of SPUDE and also opposes Starr Park.
It’s also interesting that he mentions bats and showels in his speech, which is a direct reference to Mortis and maybe — just maybe — a hint that they’re connected somehow (though this is VERY, very uncertain, I just really like this idea as a byortis fan lol).
Additionally, it’s quite possible that Byron studies the food and plants of Starr Park. Food and plants are extremely important in the lore because, based on what we know, the food in Starr Park is toxic — and so are the plants (like Spike). In the dating event, Rosa mentioned that Byron uses plants to create poisons, and in the artwork for Brawl Stars’ seventh anniversary, we see him drinking his own beverage, unlike the other members of his trio. Combined with the theory that he’s part of SPUDE and aware of Starr Park’s wrongdoing, this might mean that he knows about the contaminated food and plants, studies them, and avoids consuming park food by replacing it with his own.
HEADCANONS
1. I’m not sure if this is canon, so I headcanon that Byron is Scottish, based on the fact that his voice actor is Scottish (+ he has accent)
2. Again, not sure if this is canon or more of a headcanon, but I like to think that Byron is one of the oldest residents of Starr Park — not in terms of age, but in the sense that he’s been living on the island for a very long time.
3. I headcanon that Belle and Byron are siblings, based on their visual and personality similarities, + age and lotta lore things (she’s the older one, he’s the younger — I feel like they’d have a very fun dynamic lololll x] ).
4. Even though the things on Byron’s fingers are bandages, not rings, he still likes wearing rings and has his own collection. (He’d totally have the strangest and most interesting rings imaginable — and definitely at least one snake-shaped ring. Also, I headcanon that Belle gives him rings that she finds or steals.)
5. I like the idea of Byron having a pet snake, python probably:0 Also he acts around snakes like they r his children and people he hangs out with, like Belle, Gray, Chuck n Mortis r often mocking him about that
