maybe i could post my artfight stuff here too.... trying mass attacks this year :p

this is two of hearts, a megamind fancomic that i started in late autumn of last year. it was meant to be told through short, non-chronological memories (with the chapters being aptly called fragments) mostly from the perspective of minion (i may have changed this but i never got far enough into writing the comic to do so). it was a drama detailing the relationship between megamind and minion and how it evolved (and devolved) over time with an added layer of minion dealing with unrequited love and the mental toll it takes on him.

if you guys remember the new body comic, it was created to test the waters before writing the real thing, and would have been included in the complete comic as a prologue or a "chapter 0". additionally, that lineless drawing of minion staring at the camera while a two of hearts playing card dangles above him was something i drew in an attempt to give myself some motivation later down the line, and as a subtle teaser. as you may have guessed, it didn't really manage to achieve its first goal.

during the production process, i had to step away from personal art like this to work on my portfolio for uni, which ended up taking an extremely long time (i have adhd and tend to work really slow). after that, all i was left with is my motivation for two of hearts completely disappearing, and a rejection letter from the aforementioned university. fun times!

in the end, it met the same fate as all my other large projects did, which really doesn't give me any hope as a creator. there are pages of the first chapter, but i'd rather not show them as i'm not a fan of how they look anymore. i suppose, all i can do now is write this post and move on. i hope this was at least a little interesting??? and not too depressing??? but thank you for reading regardless.
