well we haven’t got to see much of Sydney yet, and this is an au, so I’ll headcanon away!! 

who starts putting up decorations in october? david, he wants to use them as distractions and build new memories/traditions with sydneywho buys the advent calendars? david! his excitement is erratic and intensewho places mistletoes all around the house? David, he wants to kiss her hahahawho wraps the presents for other people? sydney. david watches and daydreams who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? who’s the one that hates eggnog? sydney. david adds fix-ins cough cherries cough and tries new recipes for her to eventually like one. not sure if it works thoughwho’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? its david’s idea, he makes sydney help him. all the hard work and he ends up licking the spoon. typical. but it;s nice to see him happy.who sends out the christmas cards? david can’t sit still for that long, so sydney only does the mandatory few to parents and close friends.who knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? sydney learned them growing up and it’s been engrained in her mind. oh, you know they spend the holidays together and people are so confused if they’re an item or not, and then they get even more bamboozled when they realize that kevin can’t touch anyone so while people have questions they may be too scared to ask. i’ve heard it’s just platonic, but who’s to say???

who starts putting up decorations in october? moira shows kevin how it iswho buys the advent calendars? moira… erm…. shoplifted again. they have multiple calendars ofcwho places mistletoes all around the house? kevin puts them in moira’s room to try and get her to bring guys into the room (and puts them higher than she can reach, but she has enough step-stools hidden away to take them down if she wanted to)who wraps the presents for other people? moira teaches kevin lots of things. he still sucks at it though. too much tape, i’ve heardwho puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? moira asks kevin to do it. he complains that he already helped decorate the tree, but she says she trusts him. he ends up purposely shaking the tree, making her heart stop for a moment, then laughs at her. she uses him as a punching bagwho’s the one that hates eggnog? kevin has never had it, so he almost throws it upwho’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? i’m sure moira talks kevin into doing it then eats all the dough/cookies herself. they only have enough to hand em out to a few close friends. who sends out the christmas cards? moira collects a number of things. it’s kevin who makes her write out the cards. she asks for help, but he complains that he doesnt know anyone else besides her. who knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? moira makes kevin go caroling with her. he likes it way more than he cares to admit. he likes making people smile, being out in the cold with a small group of people. he can’t sing well moira begs to differ, his accent and soft voice are quite soothing, but he still enjoys it. he’s bummed the next night when it snows too hard to go again.who’s the better snowman builder? i’d like to think its more of a group activity. They don’t do it often though, they’re both too lazy for it.who starts snowball fights?
