I enjoy the inference others have made that Kreese never knew Ali existed at all and therefore had to assume Johnny was in love with Daniel, because it makes everything in Cobra Kai a million times more hilarious.  It means Kreese’s entire 35-year motivation has been to cockblock Johnny Lawrence, and every time he sees Johnny interact with Daniel sirens go off in his head that he must immediately stop his favorite student from being horny.  All of this culminates in a teenage karate gang war with kids throwing each other off balconies and Kreese himself trying to murder Johnny bc he thinks Johnny’s greatest weakness is wanting to dick the local used car salesman.
