Tsukishima’s the type that acts annoyed to be partnered with you for a project at the start of the semester, always coming up with snarky remarks when you gave him your work.

Tsukishima, who you always found to be always sneaking a puff in the study rooms when he thought nobody was looking, but always left the air smelling a bit fruity and minty every few minutes.

Tsukishima, who would purposely leave his lighter or pack to find an excuse to talk to you.

He would also be the kind to notice when you get tired or frustrated, taking the work over for you in the meantime while you take a break, nap, or even a smoke. Of course, only when you offer him to join you.

The kind of guy to leave trinkets or snacks he knows you like on your desk or on top of your notebook when he knows you’ve had a particularly rough day, along with a note along usually neutral phrases. Not too praising but not overly monotone.

Tsukishima’s the kind of guy you find at the house party who drinks outside with a small group of guys. Some guys from his major class, loud and obnoxious, a stark contrast to his overtly nonchalant demeanor. He swirls his drink in his hand, looking bored as he takes drags of his vape occasionally.

Tsukishima’s surprisingly the kind of guy whose expression seemingly shifts when he locks eyes with you at said party. Excusing himself from the group of guys, he makes his way over to you, asking why you’re there, who you’re with, and if you have a cigarette.

He invites you to the second floor of the house, leading you to the balcony for some open air. The atmosphere is soft. The cold breeze blowing on your skin, the muffled music and conversation coming from down stairs, and the soft sound of Tsukishima’s breathing next to you.

You offer him a cigarette which he takes, and light yourself your own. He stares at your lips as you light your cigarette, his own stick in his mouth. He looks as if he’s debating something. Before you even offer him a lighter, he leans closer to your face, the tips of your cigarettes touching as he uses your lit one to light the end of his.

Tsukishima who learns he absolutely despises his roommate two days after he moves in. He’s loud, messy, and always seems to have his girlfriend over in their small double dormitory. He’s not sure how they always share his roommate’s small twin bed. Even his headphones can’t spare him. Any attempts of setting boundaries flies over the guy’s head.

Tsukishima who meets you, the girlfriend’s roommate, and sees that you seem to be in the same shoes he’s in. You also hate your roommate! Whenever they’re not torturing Tsukishima in his suite, they’re in yours torturing you. He could recognize that look of exhausted defeat anywhere.

Tsukishima who makes the offer of a lifetime. He’ll be your roommate of convenience! You both absolutely despise your respective roommates. So why not let them move into his dorm and he’ll take your old roommate’s bed? It’s a win-win situation. (He hopes)

He’ll start to invite you to the library during exam season and even meet up with you after your classes to walk back to the dorms.

Tsukishima who’d much rather build a puzzle with you in your room than go to whatever party his volleyball team is trying to drag him to.

Tsukishima who secretly loves to hear whatever gossip you’ve learned. You’ll return to the room and have that look on your face. Suddenly, his headphones are off his head and you have his full attention. (He tries to be nonchalant about it)

Tsukishima who falls into a domestic relationship with you. It isn’t fast paced or dramatic. He’ll randomly pause one day and realize that he’s doing your laundry because you asked him to. He’d never do something like that for anyone else. He’d also kill anyone who’d say he’s gone soft for you.

sets his notes down neatly, and waits for you to settle beside him before he starts working, and even though he pretends he doesn’t care whether you’re there or not.

the playlist isn’t cheesy; it’s full of poetic love songs his parents would play when he was younger or songs he heard while watching films. he updates it constantly, adding new songs whenever something makes him think of you on the walk home or during late‑night study sessions.
