Figured I'd make an intro post or something?
I'm Hex (they/them)! My usual internet handle is Hexephre. I'm an artist first and foremost. I really like character design, storytelling, and drawing comics. I also write a lot, mainly for original settings, but FFXIV finally dragged me back into the fanfiction game by pretending it's original stuff and then slamming me with "don't forget there's canon lore you have to abide by." Rude.
My WoL is Xephre Drakis (they/them), a Rava Viera. They started out as a self-insert kind of character, as I usually do in video games with custom character creators, but developed their own backstory and personality over time and are now distinct from me, despite the name.
My little gimmick for Xeph is a time loop curse: whenever they die, they’re sent back in time to the day they received the Echo and made to try again. They're a fairly serious and focused individual - they're actually not a lot of fun lmao. In non-WoL settings they're more lighthearted and have a dry witty kind of humour, but as a WoL they're just so damn tired they can't often muster the energy to joke about trivial things.
Xeph's primary job is Reaper; they have a pact with three sister voidsents in the shape of demonic birds collectively called the Keres. They mostly function as a unit but sometimes quibble over little things like the best way to kill a target, giving Xeph a big ol' headache.
I do a lot of WoLshipping and spicy stuff but I haven't decided if I wanna share that here yet lmao.
