I'm a hacker at heart so I don't really have any software loyalties. Everything is fair game.

I cut up pieces of pre-existing gifs or make new ones via Processing, GIMP, or internet apps. Then stretch and warp those into a collage in onlineimageeditor.com (It let's me cut and paste gifs while they're moving. Which is an interesting experience.) Then I take that and filter it in GIMP, Photomosh, Etc. Repeat until satisfied. A good 50% of the gifs i've made are cannibalizations of gifs i've made.

This way of making may be coming to an end for me. I've played it out as far as I think I can get.

Most recently I've been experimenting with traditional animation tools. Maybe I'll add that to the mix or start creating new stuff.

It's time to get the hell out of here!
