i feel like we've really lost the ball on what classifies "indie" in writing circles. like if you got it published by a publisher attached to a company and it's in book stores and shit that's... that's not indie. that's just normal. on account of having a publisher owned by a company. indie doesn't mean "made by a person who posts on social media" like it actually has to be independent to some degree
