it is possible for a human to strive to become near immune to pain. There are some Buddhist monks today who have trained themselves to do painful tasks without feeling a thing. Its all about training yourself psychologically and freeing yourself from the thought of pain at all. Pain and fear reside entirely in our imagination, and we are the masters of our imagination. But there are variables in human society that hold us back from increasing our potential. Taking mercy on someone weaker than you rather than wiping them out is a clear example of something that restrains our potential. Major organised religions are another thing but I wont get into that.

The maximization of pleasure and the minimization of pain eh. That's a very interesting concept. Well first of pain and pleasure are two sides of a coin. Some humans experience pleasure from pain. So that implies that these people have some kind of inner profound connection between pain and pleasure. Or that they are "malfunctioning".

But than again the feeling of pain resides in the human psyche. Pain after all is an illusion created in our imagination. This is why some humans experience pain differently than others. Take body modifications for example.

A man name Jack goes into a tattoo parlor and gets a full arm tattoo he is there for 12 hours lets say, he hardly experienced any discomfort whatsoever. Lets also say that Jack is frequent for body modifications so that you can argue that he has developed some kind of immunization to that pain.

A few days later a woman name Jane went to the same parlor and experienced no pain whatsoever and this was her first time for a modification.

What i'm trying to establish is people experience pain differently. And that pain lies entirely in the imagination a unique part of the human psyche. A particular person could maximize there pleasure and completely disregard there pain by maximizing there ability to ignore pain completely. 

Also a side note, If you put a orgasm button on any animal it will push the pleasure button until it dies, even if it means it dies of starvation. Also if you put an animal with an unlimited supply of food and water in a certain area it wont leave the area even if it means limiting its movement to a couple of step a day, hell it'll lay in its own piss and fecal matter for the remainder of its days.

My point being that humans all animals are lazy, we always take the easy way out for everything cause that's just what animals do. call it "sloth and gluttony" two natural animal instincts.

If i haven't explained other wise, I am a Criminal Psychology major. The human brain is such an interesting thing to me ever more so of a "Malfunctioning brain" like that of the criminally insane.

As I may stated other wise in the past, I'm also equally as interested in human social interactions and human social hierarchy.

So here are my thoughts, the world this world earth is a planet that runs on two things lust and power. Everything that has been done everything that has been made in this world art, music, technology...everything has been made for males to impress and attract females and for females to impress and attract males.

Also humans are naturally power hungry, We always want more more everything. More attention like fame, more food, more mates, more money, more everything. But than again power is only ever so sought for just so humans can get more mates. With more money, a person can do more things to impress females after all.

So those with more power, are naturally alphas and alphas get to pick the very best mates. Alphas aren't always intelligent. they are more athletic and drawn to the path of the warrior. EI military, police officers, people who like and play loads of sports. These people are also very controlling, they control there mates, they control the alphas under them, they control anyone they can over power pretty much. 

This leaves betas, if you weren't born an alpha than your a beta, more or less an intelligent type, an artist, musician etc. Beta males can become alphas in there own social hierarchies tho. a clear of this would be bill gates, he is an intellectual successful man who has the utmost respect in his social surroundings .  Betas do not get first choice in mates nor do they get the cream of the crop in good looking mates ether.

This in some senses is upsetting for betas. But its how the world works. Betas work constantly to become more successful so they can get a better choice of mates. While alphas get the first pick and the best looking ones.

weather or not a male is born with a large or small sexual organ could account to weather or not he is an alpha or a beta. But this is only a theory that I like to think is true.

The world spins on the intellectual abilities, they make inventions, they run the worlds tech, make art and make music. While the Alphas do alpha thing like fight wars, become political figures and do alpha things like throw balls.

The common saying of "Why do girls always fall for asshats, but keep us good guys in the friend zone" Well its because your a beta and alphas get the first pick in mates. Perhaps these beta males who say this constantly should stop reaching for alpha females and go for a beta one around there level.

This kind of "alpha envy" can create series psychological implications on betas. Some betas even resort to crimes such as murder. Most "Successful" Serial killers are beta males. The intellectual ability of a beta male can be used for "bad". One could say that what drove a psychopath like the zodiac killer. Could be a case of society rejecting them, or maybe him not getting what he wanted with a mate.

What is interesting is that if you put human society next to ape society you see loads and loads of similarities. But personality I like to compare humans to canines wolfs, domestic dogs. There are tons of similarities there too

Also did you know homosexuality occurs in countless amounts of species, but in the wild it is more of a power thing than a "love" thing. So why is it so taboo in our society, Well it is simple. Humans fear change and the change of people taking same sex mates is scary for heterosexual people. And the presence of "love" only complicates it.

You see the emotion "love" is a human only trait, it was factored into our society as a way to add more depth to human relationships, But it is just an illusion fabricated by the human psyche. The emotion love rests in the imagination, so does creativity,bravery, and fear. and the imagination is what sets us apart from animals in a nutshell. Another note is dancing is the human mating call.
