Bryony was born and raised in Riverdale, never really having anywhere else that she called home. She never knew her father, her mother and grandparents refusing to talk about him. She came from old money, her grandparents owning some hotels and other establishments in the state. However, with her mother barely being fifteen when she was born, Bryony was raised in the public eye as being her grandparent’s daughter, not knowing who her real mother was until she was fifteen. It was also then when she found out that her real father was a Ghoulie who had died of an overdose a few years after her birth. It had been a sham and potentially caused drama in the Fitzgerald social standing, so her whole heritage never went outside of the household. 

From a young age, she wanted to be apart of the army, seeing a documentary when she was ten and realising she was interested in that. She’d always been a bit of a tomboy, preferring to hang around with guys rather than girls. Her family weren’t too impressed, though the headstrong girl refused to change. 

Her grades were pretty average, never great but never overly bad. She got enough to be accepted into the army, spending two tours overseas. With the things she saw out there, the blonde never really mentioned what she’d experienced, finding it difficult to put into words exactly what had happened. However, the little she mentioned was how she met friends for life, people not expecting her to be as capable as she was. 

On her last tour, she realised she needed to go back to normality, deciding to leave and go back to ‘civilian’ life after a few years of barely being around her friends’ and family both home. Her plan was originally to stay in Riverdale for a few years before getting a job as a police officer in a city, though when a job offer came up in the town, she decided to accept it, aged twenty-two. 

After three years, she was offered the position of Detective, a role she’d been working at doing for years. It had always been her ideal career so she took it without hesitation. Though she’s still based in Riverdale, her job involves her working for several more precincts nearby, being the first port of call. 

With her career being her biggest focus, the blonde had only just recently settled down into buying a nice house in town and now feels she’s ready for a full time relationship since breaking the heart of her ex years ago.
