our other fraternity brothers have all pretty much washed their hands of this situation and i was previously thinking that they were all assholes for not stepping up to help him but now i am thinking that they are all smart and i am a fucking dumbass for putting myself in this position. oh wellll. i was originally gonna give him until the end of the week to figure something out but if he comes back tomorrow and is still being a dick about it, i’m kicking him out i don’t give a fuck. he can go stay with fucking psych ward guy or find a homeless shelter or one of the various resources i spent hours of my life trying to find for him that he’s done nothing with. but whateverrrrr…

i have been so insanely stressed trying to help him with his shit and keep the peace with the other people i live with while he’s been here. and he actually has the audacity to be an asshole when i feel like very reasonably said we need to like, figure this shit out since he’s now well enough to be like going out to the fucking beach and movies and staying at some random dudes house. like idk was i in the wrong for trying to start that conversation with him right before he was trying to go out? it’s just like, my other roommates have been telling me he has to go for days, i needed to talk to him today, and now he’s gone and staying out all night. it felt like a relevant moment to bring that shit up bc i have no idea what he’s doing rn or what his plan is, bc he hasn’t talked to me about it in over a fucking week. i kind of feel like maybe i was too stoned and it wasn’t the right time, but in the moment it felt kinda like ‘now or never’ because i told everyone i’d talk to him today.

bruhhh i let this dude stay at my place for almost a month, fed him, gave him clothes, took care of him this whole time. he kept saying that he had a plan and he wouldn’t be here much longer but the time kept stretching on. and now i’m getting shit from the other people i live with bc he’s still here, he’s only contributed like $50 towards the food and utilities, he said he’d help out around the house with shit but mostly lies down all day and has only unloaded the dishwasher like, twice. so they’re getting pissed at me cuz he’s still here and contributing nothing. and i understand he’s having like, a mental crisis which is not his fault and i want to help him, but i feel like i’m pretty much reaching the limit for what i can do for him. he fucked off all day with some random dude he met at a psych ward and came back just long enough to grab his meds and say he was staying with that guy tonight, and i was needing to talk to him about how much longer he’s gonna stay here, and i very inelegantly said that. like ‘man, do whatever you wanna do tonight, but are you gonna be back tomorrow cuz you’ve been here for like, a month and we gotta have a talk’ and he actually got pissed at me. and went and dramatically threw some shit in his overnight bag and said we’d talk more tomorrow. i apologized for like, dropping that shit on him as he was about to go out and he straight up rolled his eyes at me. and then stormed out of my house wearing my fucking pants. lol. well i guess now at least now i won’t feel as bad about kicking him out lmao.
