Hiiii, I'm a super big fan of your writing. I actually have thr notifications on for your blog! Just wanted to let you know that

There's something out there. Something grand, something life changing. It's just within my grasp. I've just got to step over the ledge, into the unknown. I've never been much of a risk taker though.

Ah, to fall in love with strangers, this must be what they mean by bittersweet.

Can you miss someone you've never met? Long for something you've never had? Feel nostalgia for a place you've never lived? Regret a decision you've never made? Because I'd like to know what this is if you can't.

It never leaves does it? That emptiness. I wish I could cut it out, but I'm not sure who'd be left if it were gone. Certainly not me. No, that's just who I am, who I've always been.

I hope reincarnation is real, because one lifetime with you could never be enough.

I don't believe in soulmates or matches made in heaven.  I don't believe in true love or that it can conquer all.  I don't believe in happily ever afters or honeymoon phases.  I don't. I really don.t I don't, because I know none of that is real.  But damn if you don't make me question everything I know.

I've heard love makes you fearless. But if that's true, why am I so afraid to lose you?

I hope you never have someone look at you as something that was. Like the stars you walked on are now just broken pieces of concrete. Like the music of your voice is now out of tune. Like the brightness of your smile is now common place.  I hope you're never treated like you're not enough. Like you make the day longer than it should be. Like there's something better waiting just around the corner. I hope you never feel the way you made me feel. Like I was supposed to rearrange the stars but made them go out instead. Like I made the butterflies in your stomach die with summer.  I hope you know you deserve the world and every good thing it contains, even you made it clear that didn't include me.

I like being alone.  I like having no expectations. I like playing music too loud. I like dancing by myself while cooking dinner. I like forgetting the world.  But sometimes I get lost there. I don't like being gone without a guide. I don't like forgetting a dance step and having no one to remind me what it was. Because there's some voids music can't fill and there's emptiness that expectations chase away.  I like being alone, but being lonely, that terrifies me.

Memories, like wine, can get better with age. Oh, but I guess even fine wine can be poison.

In my story, an aspiring stand-up comedian and singer/songwriter of humorous songs, who is bad at comedy, meets the right people & becomes a famous singer/songwriter of regular songs. My Q- So would the antagonist be the various obstacles and herself?
