I finally have a second to breathe and post regarding my volatile decision to make my blacklist public, a decision in which I still stand behind.  I took the blacklist down because I reblogged it from another model. I was the catalyst for this whole thing, so I feel the post should be in my words and mine only. I also feel I should be the one receiving the fallout for what I started.  I am not actively adding to my blacklist. If you have had a negative experience with someone I encourage you to reach out to the authorities, Facebook admins, and Model Mayhem moderators (MM especially has specifically requested people come to them).  I cannot thank those who have offered support and solidarity enough. I have been receiving hundreds of messages an hour since my initial posting so I am incredibly behind on messages right now, but am slowly responding to every single one. Morticia and Gomez have a very loving relationship but at the same time it’s also very sexual. In the other movies we’ve seen them from an outsider’s perspective. But this show is about Wednesday. And we look at Wednesday’s parents through her eyes. She knows her parents love each other to death, but she is also an emo teenage girl, so of course she will see their affection towards each other as weird and awkward.

I narrowly avoided death twice, discovered that my father may be a murderer, learned that I could potentially destroy the school, and was mysteriously saved by a homicidal monster.

It’s loud and bright and productive and glamorous. It’s fast-paced and things cycle through the environment in hours. Everyone is trying to fight for their position in the food chain and stay Relevant. There are lots of pretty things to look at. If something gets Popular it has an impact on everything around it, for a brief time until the next big thing arrives. To an outside observer it’s chaos but to those involved it has order, reason, a Purpose.

If you stopped masking, it’s time to start again, today. I’m not asking you to stay home, just to mask as well as possible, and do hand hygiene.

In multiple communities all over the USA and Canada, every pediatric hospital bed is full, mostly with babies and toddlers who have severe respiratory infections. It seems to be a combination of flu, RSV and COVID, sometimes more than one at a time in the same child.

We can sort out why this happened later. Right now, there’s an emergency that should be front page news, and isn’t, and the best way to stop it is to reduce the circulation of all respiratory viruses in our communities by masking everyone who can mask, before babies start dying because there isn’t enough care to go around.
