Ended up buying Witch It. Do I feel regret? Nope. Its a fun hide and seek game to pass the time. I especially like playing the Witch since when a Hunter passes by me, I taunt them by laughing maniacally and then running away when they get too near. Ahahahaha. Playing Hunter is good, too. Its immensely satisfying to throw chimkens and potatoes. Lol. 😂
It's still on sale on Steam for PHP128.98 till February 18 so if you're looking for a good hide and seek game to try out, I definitely recommend.
It's already been around 2 weeks since the New Year started and I just wanna get myself back together. Mentally and physically. The past few years has been really hard for all of us and I just feel jaded. I don't wanna do resolutions since I seldom actually do them till the end so I'm gonna set goals for myself. They may seem vague but at least I gotta start somewhere.

Start taking better care of myself.
I've been consistently taking my meds for the past few months so that's a nice start. I try really hard not to stress myself out. I'm distancing myself from anything that can possibly worsen my anxiety. I might ask for help when it comes with my sleeping issues since I usually wake up after about 2 to 3 hours and then I have trouble getting back to sleep again.
I'll post some other goals later on when I get to thinking what I wanna do. I'm usually the type to just go with the flow so... Yeah. Imma post some other stuff when I get to it. Share your goals with me?
I honestly forgot that it was Sunday today and that the laboratory is only open till lunch. Luckily, my Aunt reminded me of that so we didn't waste a trip. We just decided to dropby at the Supermarket to buy some stuff. I bought 2 tubs of ice cream (1 of 'em was free), a box of sugar cones, some nori and a pack of chicharon for my Dad. My nephews and nieces already downed 1 of the tubs and the whole pack of sugar cones. Should've bought 2 boxes of those. 🤣

I was planning on unwinding for my day off but I woke up a little too early for my liking. I could've woke up at atleast around 8AM but my body decided to wake up at around 5:30ish. Yay me. 😒
I do have to go for a laboratory test after lunch tho. I'm hoping that the results would be okay now since I'm so fed up with all the meds that I've been taking. It should lessen the meds I've been taking to something a bit more bearable if this shows up okay.
But anyways, I've been reading Secret Playlist since yesterday and I must say that I'm hooked. Will binge read it for now since I'm too lazy to get up from bed. 🛌📖😅
E'm back... Although I don't know how long I could actually scrounge up the energy to do anything. I just feel listless.
Tho a friend of mine suggested to take a peek at Nekopara: Catboys Paradise on Steam. And since I have already set up my laptop for the day, I might as well take a look at it.
Haven't played it for that long, I think I'm about half an hour in on the game. So far, dialogue wise, its pretty good. Can't fault anything with the character design. Concept is pretty cute, too. Tho I might just be biased since I adore cats. Ahahahah. Best of all is that it's free on Steam.

I haven't been able to post stuff here again. 😑 Work has been really draining and I don't even wanna do anything on my days off except sleep. Which isn't of any help either since I can't get a decent shut eye since I always wake up after an hour or two. Fuuu-- 😒

"Hey, Ryuu? You look dazed."
I looked to my right and saw Yoosung standing beside my table holding a tray of food.
I sighed and gestured for him to sit with me which he happily did. "It's nothing. I'm fine."
"Are you sure? I thought you were inviting Jumin out for lunch? Did you change your mind?" he asked after taking a sip from his coffee.
"I did. Invite him that is."
"Then what happened?" He started eating his burger.
"He said yes." I glanced at his tray and stole some fries, popping one in my mouth before looking at him.
"Then where is he? Lunch break started half an hour ago. Is he going to be late?" He was frowning at me, brows creased. It actually made him adorable.
I gave him a small smile. "He called me a while ago, said he couldn't make it because he's not finished preparing for a meeting. It's one of your biggest clients and that he's gonna make it up to me next time."
He's frown deepened and he's actually starting to look irritated. "Again? How many times has he said that?"
I shrugged, not knowing what to say. "I don't know," I cocked my head to the side trying to remember how many times this happened. "Around 20 or 25 maybe? I lost count after 6 lunch invitations and 9 dinner dates. I smiled bitterly.
"How can you be fine with this, Ryuu?!" he slammed his hands on the table, startling me on my sit. The people around us staring at us curiously.
I glared at him for a few seconds and sighed. I couldn't even hold my glare when he was pouting like a kicked puppy. "I am FINE." I stressed out the word 'fine' earning a dubious look from Yoosung.
"Okay fine- I feel a little lonely, alright? But I understand he's busy with work. I know it's hard running a company."
"That doesn't give him an excuse to ditch multiple dates. He's lucky he even has someone to date." He leaned forward so he can look me straight in the eyes. "Don't lie to me. Did he ever make up to you for it?"
I gave him the biggest smile I could make but suddenly dropped it because it was starting to hurt my cheeks and I feel foolish. "He gave me his credit card and told me to buy anything that I want with it." I smiled sadly at him again. I don't even know why Jumin would think that I would want something like that when I don't like shopping to begin with.
"Why that friggin' trust fund kid-," I grabbed and pulled on his sleeve when he started to get up from his seat.
"Yoosung. Stop." Whatever he heard in my tone made him stop, I just shook my head when he looked at me. "Sit down."
He sat back down. Elbows on the table, his face buried in his hands, I can clearly see how frustrated he is with the situation.
Yoosung is such an angel, always there when you need him. Always there supporting me. I was smiling softly at him when I saw him peek at me from between his fingers.
He suddenly grabbed my hands and pulled me from my sit. Dragging me with him, he started walking towards the door. We just got out of the cafe when he stopped and turned. "We're gonna play LOLOL," he proudly said while wearing that cute little smile that you just can't say no to.
"You still have work, you know." I pointed out.
"I've already finished everything that needs to be done and if something comes up, it can wait till tomorrow."

I’m trying to pick-up some of the stories that I haven’t finished yet so I’m re-posting this here. Honestly? This story was posted on FF.Net at the start of 2019 and yet I still haven’t finished this yet. I’ve got the general idea down but I can’t find the motivation to write. I initially thought that I can continue to write this when the pandemic started since I would probably have some spare time somehow but the stress from work has been crippling to say the least. I do hope I could get my muses back. I miss my old self.

"Luffy, let me go," I said sighing for the nth time.
"No way." I felt him tighten his hold on me.
"Let me go."
"No. Shishishi~"
"Luffy~" I whined.
He shifted a bit so I can sit comfortably in his lap. And yes, I'm currently situated in his lap for whatever reason he has when he suddenly pulled me.
"Why?" I finally asked.
"Because you're having too much fun," he answered over my shoulder. "You're not allowed to have too much fun when I'm not allowed to leave this booth." He pulled me closer to his chest and I could just imagine the sulky face he's probably wearing.
"BECAUSE-- you're probably gonna burn the club down with all the trouble that you'll be up to." I told him smugly.
He smirked at me, "And that's why you're gonna stay here with me, 'cuz as you told me before, 'Misery loves company'."
I turned in his grip so I can face him and play my cards. Puppy eyes and quivering lips ought to do the trick.
"Not gonna fall for that this time," he said grinning at me.
"But Luffy~" I whined burying my head in his shoulder, "That doesn't count when said company would be me."
"Yes it does, since company is still company. Be it you or someone else."
"You just said someone else, then choose somebody else to play chaperone."
"But I want you, Nami." Luffy said while wearing his signature grin.
"You said company is company. I'm getting Usopp to play babysitter." I said to him while trying to get up from his lap.
This was one of the few times that we managed to find a decent club these past few months. And I'm not planning to end it like the other times that we have to run away from a burning or collapsing building due to the fights and troubles started by my crewmates.
God knows how much I love these idiots and how willing I am to sacrifice my life for them, but can't a girl have one peaceful night to relax?!
"No," he said with determination. "I want you here. No. I need you here with me." He shifted in his sit and pulled me closer so that I'm flushed against him.
"You know," I said while burying my head in his neck, "If I thought that you have any inkling of romance in that brain of yours, I would've swooned on the spot. That line plus the gestures you're making would've melted any girl's heart if they didn't know you."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing, you idiot." She smiled fondly at her captain. "So-- how long are you planning on taking me hostage, anyways?"
"Until you allow me to leave this booth. Shishishi."
"You know I can't allow that right?," I sighed, propping up my chin on his shoulder. Looking around the club, I can already see the party is in full swing. The night has already started but the dancefloor is already packed.
"That's why you're here to keep me company."
"And that's why I keep telling you that I'll get Usopp. Wouldn't you want Usopp to tell you his stories? Like how he slayed a humongous seaking or how he freed an island of tiny people from the wicked clutches of a king?" I was gesturing with my hands trying to make it look exciting. We all know they're all fibs (if it's from Usopp) but Luffy gets so excited hearing them. And maybe, just maybe, he'll let go of me so I can join the party somehow.
"Already told you that won't work. You've been holed up on the library working on your maps for days. This is the first time you've had time outside and I want you to spend it with me." I could feel Luffy nuzzling my hair and tightening his hold more. Sighing, I just patted his hair that was not currently hidden by his famous straw hat.
How could I say no to that? Looks like I just have to accept the fact that I'll be staying like this all night. And this will be one hell of a long night.
