Unfortunately for you, the movies neglected your possibility. The possibility that you remember each loop you lived, you just can't change a thing unless the ACTUALLY looped one initiates it. & Due to whatever magic caused the loop, you're not "free" when they change stuff, you're only able to react the way you would've if you didn't know the day was loop.

In this world on people's 18th birthday, a count down is seen above their heads [they can see it too] its counting down to they day they die. It's common place in this world for people to hold their own pre-funerals. It's been a year since your 18th birthday, just days past your 19th, & you've yet to get any date or time

It's your child's 8th birthday party. You're about to sing them happy birthday when a bunch of people, all of whom look the same, run towards you. You're about to tell them it's your kids birthday & you don't want trouble, but before you can start, they hold out headphones - one for every person a the party. "Someone majorly fucked up," they begin, "& I don't know how much longer The Boomer will be able to keep from yelling. If you value your hearing, put these on"
